We loved our stay! The house was well-equipped with tons of little details thought out (from good quality beach chairs and umbrellas provided to a kitchen with spices, oils, Tupperware, etc). Host communication was excellent and the home was clean and exceeded our expectations from the pictures. Checkout was not arduous. Highly recommend especially for other families with small kids!

This is a very charming property. We stayed here while attending our son’s graduation at a nearby university, so we didn’t have much time to fully enjoy all the amenities or the beach. That said, we really appreciated watching the sunrise and taking relaxing walks along the shore.

The house was conveniently located right on the beach. It was fully stocked with everything you would need. You don’t have to bring any beach chairs, towels, or boogie boards it’s all supplied at the house. The house was cozy and clean, the host was easy to communicate with. It was conveniently located amongst multiple restaurant choices. We loved everything about our stay.

Host was very helpful and accommodating. Checking in/out was smooth. There is an odor when you enter. You do get used to it but if you’re sensitive like I am probably not the place for you. House was very cute, loved access to the beach, but it is right on the main road ( made us nervous with a young child) and parking for only 2 cars. Overall a good experience.

Welcome! We’re a family that fell in love with this beautiful beachfront cottage, and we’re excited to share it with you. We purchased this home because our 24-year-old son, who is autistic, absolutely loves the beach—the sound of the waves, the soft sand, and the peacefulness it brings. From the moment we found this property, we knew it was special.

We hope you enjoy the stunning Chesapeake Bay views, the direct beach access, and the cozy charm of this home as much as we do. Whether you’re here for a relaxing getaway, remote work, or a family retreat, we’re honored to host you.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We chose this neighborhood for our beachfront property because it offers the perfect blend of convenience, tranquility, and accessibility. Just a short drive from Richmond and only 10 minutes from the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel, it provides easy access while still feeling like a private retreat.

The quiet, uncrowded beach is one of the area’s best-kept secrets—safe, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing by the water. Yet, despite its serenity, you're never far from great dining, outdoor activities, and local attractions, all just a short drive away. It’s the best of both worlds—a private escape with plenty to explore nearby!

この宿泊施設の特徴

What makes our property unique is the thought and experience that went into choosing it. Before settling on this home, we rented numerous beach houses, searching for the perfect balance of privacy, comfort, and direct beach access—and we finally found it here.

One of its standout features is the private, fenced-in sandy backyard, offering a safe and relaxing space for kids to play and adults to unwind. Whether you're soaking up the sun during the day or gathering around the fire pit under the stars, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy the beach lifestyle.

With direct private access to the tranquil waters of the Chesapeake Bay, you can step from your backyard onto the sand, making it feel like your own secluded retreat.
