Stylish, comfortable villa.
The Villa is exactly as depicted in the photographs, very nice and comfortably furnished and presented very well. The Villa is clean and situated on the outskirts of Playa Blanca in a private complex of similar looking villas, but felt exclusive and extremely private and not overlooked. The pool is cleaned twice a week by a friendly professional pool attendant and it was very clean and surprisingly warm. While close to Playa Blanca, a 15 to 20 minute walk, a taxi only cost just over €4 and there was never a problem getting a taxi. Playa Blanca has plenty of eateries and nice places to have a drink. We enjoy eating out, but also like the convenience of self catering in the villa, and this would be my only negative comments during our great two week stay. While there is a fully fitted kitchen I felt there was a lack of simple utensils that would help eg garlic crusher, lasagne dish. Plus while there was a dish washer, there lacked basic cleaning materials to keep the area in the pristine condition it was found in, and the BBQ area can't be kept clean without cleaning materials.
The rooms were all very clean and the beds comfortable and the many windows and doors and high ceiling gave the villa a light airy feel. The outside area is great with table and 4 chairs, and 4 sun beds. The pool is superb and just what is needed to escape the heat. The bedrooms at night do get a bit warm and would benefit from air con for the very hottest months as the provided fans just circulate the warm air.
I would definitely recommend this villa to family and friends and for any people going on holiday to Lanzarote and hope to be back soon.
