We spend a week in this lovely apartment in the 16th in early April with our teenage daughters. The location is absolutely fabulous, with restaurants, grocery stores, wine shops, pharmacies, and the metro stop on line 6 all within a block or two. There are a variety of restaurants within a block, and a great butcher shop and fish market a few blocks away as well. There is nothing you need that you can't walk to...You can even walk to L'arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower if desired! There are many lovely things to stay about this apartment, the private elevator, the large open floorpan, the separate bedroom with an actual queen bed (not a full!), the awesome shower, functional kitchen with a full sized fridge/freezer to make ice and store my smelly cheeses and baguette!, washer/dryer just outside your door, wi-fi, Netflix on the large screen t.v., the option for a roll-away (we had one rollaway and the our other daughter slept on the comfortable couch). They even had umbrellas to borrow for our one morning of rain! My favorite thing to do was to sit on the balcony with my glass of Bordeaux from the corner wine shop after a long day of sightseeing, watching the Eiffel tour sparkle every hour on the hour after dark. We had only one small issue, a wi-fi problem when we arrived home one evening, but I used the "emergency" numbers in the provided binder and was able to get a hold of Senda's mother and brother who both were very helpful in communicating with Ze (who is their very kind and lovely helper, but he isn't there in the evenings, and only speaks French, so we unable to reach him by the time we arrived home and realized the wi-fi was out). Senda was also helpful responding over the VRBO app in a timely manner. They even tried to help me reset the wi-fi myself over the phone, but when that didn't work, Ze came in the morning and fixed everything. Senda's mother was so sweet; she answered my frantic phone calls and she even offered us the use of her suite nearby so that my husband could work because our wi-fi was taking the night off. Although we appreciated the above and beyond offering, we were able to just pop down to our favorite "Le Corner Cafe", which is probably 50 feet from the front door of the apartment building, and have a cocktail and use their free wi-fi. HIGHLY recommend this apartment, and am truly grateful for the personal attention from their family and Ze, we hope to stay here again the next time we are in Paris.
