The location was perfect, the beach was beautiful, and the condominium complex itself was nice. Our vacation included several other families who booked through other vacation rental sites and had a much better experience than we did. The check in process while OK and efficient, didn’t offer the opportunity to check into the unit early despite it being ready. Other families were able to get into their unit earlier because they booked through other vacation rental sites. The parking passes were nowhere to be found, when I called the property management group, they asked me to look around the unit and drawers and cupboards until I found a stack of parking passes amongst a stack of other paperwork above the microwave. This can be a big problem with this unit because they are very very strict with parking and act quickly if you don’t have a parking pass , 10 minutes of arriving at your destination. The master showerhead sprayed water outside of the top of it. The fire alarms and or CO2 alarms would go off during the night unless we had doors and windows open. When placing a call with property management, the only thing they did was change the batteries. These were not battery alarms. They were clearly monitor alarms to alert of something. The only way to get them to stop was by opening windows and doors. There were not beach chairs or umbrellas offered with our unit, other units had them included. I would stay at this complex again but not for this unit or Southern Rentals.
