ドラゴンフライホローは、すべての快適さを備えた静かな休暇です。 アーチ型の天井、むき出しの梁、メインコテージのwoodの暖炉とwoodストーブ、マスターベッドルームのプロパンの暖炉、サンルーム。 コテージは熱交換ユニットで加熱および冷却されるため、常に快適です。 設備の整ったキッチンには、ガスコンロ、冷蔵庫、食器洗い機、農場の流し台、およびすべての通常の道具、食器、カトラリーが備わっています。 屋根付きの大きなデッキはバーベキューを保護し、フェンスで囲まれた庭内にある組み込みの温水浴槽につながっています。 フェンスの外側には、座席とダイニングエリア、ファイヤーピット、馬蹄型ピットがあり、水辺の芝生全体が190フィートにわたって広がっています。 ドックは、正午から夕暮れまで太陽を受けました。

An absolutely delightful stay at Gord & Dan’s cottage, every detail has been thoughtfully seen to and it made our weekend so special and memorable. From the abundant firewood, beautiful hot tub, gorgeous grounds, it was just prerfect! Thank you so much, we hope to return.

Our stay was perfect. Even for a cool October weekend. It was beautiful and relaxing and the river sounds so peaceful. My favourite spot was the fire pit. I was there as much as possible and when it rained I kept warm in the hot tub. Great time will come back soon. When the weather is much warmer.

Property was immaculate, very well organized, cozy and comfortable. The cottage and bunkee were exactly as advertised. The property was well set up for a dog, water was easy for her to navigate in and out and the fenced in area allowed for peace of mind. Directions to the rental and instructions were very well laid out and extremely clear. We had a wonderful stay. Would love to return.

Enjoyable

This property has everything you could need and more. The river flows nicely and water is clean and provides a perfect lazy river for floating. The cottage is well stocked and the grounds on the river bank provide many areas for sitting and relaxing, playing games or enjoying the fire. My kids are 17 to 26 and they all enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend.

Dragonfly Hollow

Just returned from an amazing stay at Gord & Dan’s beautiful cottage. Had a wonderful time! This place is gorgeous, the sound of the river is so peaceful and had so many amenities. Would definitely go back.

Perfectly charming!

A beautiful property with character and charm and no detail overlooked. Everything you could want or need was provided in a beautiful, comfortable and welcoming space. We spent our anniversary weekend here and loved every minute of our stay. Gord is a gracious and responsive host. 10/10- no notes!

A Wonderful Holiday at Dragonfly Hollow

This was our first time at Dragonfly Hollow and we were delighted with the location, accommodations, comfort, cleanliness, attention to detail and responsiveness of the owner. In our case our family consists of four adults; three slept in the 2 bedrooms in the cottage and 1 in the well-appointed bunkie. This VRBO is particularly well equipped for a family dog, not only because of the walking trails in the area but because the cottage is surrounded by a fence and is equipped with a dog door. Haliburton is about 20 minutes away (Minden about 10 minutes) and has a thriving arts community. A highly recommended VRBO!

End of summer getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-night, end of summer getaway at Dragonfly hollow. The hosts have thought about every detail which makes this property super comfortable and enjoyable for everyone, including our puppy. We will most definitely recommend and return.

The Nichol’s

Really great place. Very clean and well maintained. They’ve thought of everything with extra batteries bulbs anything you could possibly need in a pinch. Lightning killed the power for a short time but the generator kicked in immediately and we didn’t miss a beat. Beautiful cottage with great kitchen, porch and hot tub and great experience and hosts! Thanks Gord and Dan for a wonderful place for the family to unwind.

Always a great vacation

Our 5th stay was amazing as always!! The cottage has everything you need and more! We love rafting down the river, playing darts and relaxing on the hammock. The kids love it and are always sad to leave.

Wonderful Family Holiday

This was our second time at this cottage and it rates as one of the best places we have been to. The cottage is beautifully decorated and makes you feel right at home. The host is friendly and everything is so well organised. The kids could enjoy fishing, tubing and all of the outdoor games. One of the reasons we love this spot is because it is also very pet friendly. We had a wonderful family holiday.

Dragonfly Hollow cottage is a beautiful retreat.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dragonfly Hollow cottage. It was peaceful and beautiful inside and out. The attention to detail was so lovely. Our dog enjoyed the wonderful outdoors so much. We cannot wait to rent Dragonfly Hollow again!

Family Week

Our children are in their mid-twenties, we have all been so busy this past year, we wanted a week to reconnect and have fun together. Dragonfly Hollow did not disappoint! We had a fabulous time playing darts, horseshoes, corn hole, floating down the river and fishing. Simple things such as sitting in the river on a lawn chair enjoying the view or reading a book truly made us grateful to be there. The magic begins when you realize the hosts have thought of everything! They have created a peaceful space that allows you to experience the sound of the water as it runs rapidly over the river rocks, beautiful sunsets, games/activities to keep all ages entertained, river floating is a 5 star relaxing experience and the outdoor lights keep the magic going after sunset. And there's more....extras that we are very grateful for is a gated area that dogs can be safe but adventurous in, doggie door, cozy luxury inside, hot tub and a bunk with washroom! Truly, I would like to keep Dragonfly Hollow a secret but something this special deserves to be shared, so I highly recommend you go find the magic it offers.

Something very special…

We had an exceptional time at Dragonfly Hollow! Gord and Dan have thought of everything a guest might need to make their stay comfortable and memorable: cozy beds, plenty of towels, dishes galore, a guest-dedicated fridge, and even an outdoor shower. There are many spots, both indoors and outdoors, to read and relax. The property is very private and quiet, other than the sound of the river, which was very welcome. Highlights of our stay included tubing on the river rapids, finding brightly coloured mushrooms along Dragonfly Lane, playing darts and horseshoes, swimming daily in the river, and hot tubbing under the stars. Thank you again, Gord and Dan, for sharing your space with us. We can’t wait to return!

Our 4th visit

We absolutely love this cottage. Our 4th time visiting did not disappoint. Gord and Dan have thought of absolutely everything you would need during your stay and more. The kids love rafting down the river during the day and catching roads/frogs at night. We look forward to visiting again next year.

Perfection

We spent 2 weeks at Gord and Dan's beautiful cottage, wonderful stay! They have thought of everything and we were extremely comfortable. The new bunkie came in very handy for friends who stayed over one night. Loved the outdoor shower and awesome coffee maker. Tons of wood for the enclosed firepit. Very private, great hot tub. Enclosed area for the pooch. Thank you!!
