Our stay was great. I would suggest that the bathroom toilet on the bottom floor be looked at as it leaked quite a bit this week. Also the mattresses need replaced. Very soft sides are hard, all family members in the home agreed. Other than that, it was great.

Location was perfect! Silver sands just around the corner and pompano joes less than a block. The beach just steps away! We had a great time!

Our stay was fabulous! The location was close to everything and the fact that we had our own private beach well that was GREAT! We went mainly to relax and shop and that's exactly what we did. Neighbors were very friendly we will be back!

Beautiful updated property

This is our 3rd Costa Del Sol property to stay in and by far our favorite. While some units have been slightly updated, this unit has been completely remodeled and well done. We love Costa Del Sol for its proximity to the beach and will definitely be coming back.

Great Location

This house was perfect for our family. Directly on the beach but beware… it’s not a private beach, wake up early and grab a few chairs to hold your spot. It's a one story house, spacious, with a great view, nice porches, and fully stocked kitchen. Malls, restaurants, grocery stores are just minutes away.

The only thing we would say needed an upgrade was the pillows! They were pretty uncomfortable. The couch cover came off a lot. Everything else was good. Great location. Loved the private beach!

I would stay here again

We really enjoyed our stay here. If you have small children bring a baby gate or plan on buying one. The beach is right outside your door and it’s private so it’s not crowded at all. It’s in a good location. The bottom part didn’t have any service or WiFi. We never reached out to anyone about that so that may be a fixable issue. Overall it was a great week!

Thanksgiving at the beach

Our whole family enjoyed our stay at the beach. Our accommodations were good for a family with two grandparents, two parents, and five children ages 2, 7, 8,13, and 16. The only slight concern was having to have two entrances given the layout. We all enjoyed the large living area on main floor but going up and down steps for the lower area was not for older adults. That being said, we were very pleased and would consider reserving it again next year.

Excellent location

Clean home. In walking distance of many shops and food. On the beach-steps away. Host great at replying quickly and giving any info needed. We had a fabulous time. Note-the downstairs is not attached to main house unless you walk outside. I was unsure when we rented but wanted to pass that along if you are expecting to use downstairs room for younger kids. We will definitely rent out the condo again!!

Nurses get away!

9 nurses and a doctor needed a quick get away to the beach. No husbands, no kids. This was absolutely perfect for us. Great location, easy to find. Our favorite part was the fact that it was only steps away from the waters edge. Property was clean, beds were comfortable and the scenery was amazing. the only issue was the wi-fi. It was very spotty and hard to stay connected, especially for those 4 in the downstairs living area. Our group would love to return to Destin next year and would definitely book this property again.

First time in Florida didn't disappoint

Our stay was absolutely amazing! We loved how close we were to the ocean, being able to wake up to the sound of the waves was fantastic. I 100% want to come back. There was only one thing, on our last night my teen kids woke up to a roach climbing the walls in the upstairs bedroom with the 2 beds. There was only 1 that we saw which we disposed of. All in all I'm ready to come back. The location was perfect, the view was amazing, and it was so calming and relaxing, would definitely recommend and possibly return, (working on talking the husband into an every year return)

Couldn’t ask for anything more except

Great times with the family. The only issue is in order to get downstairs, you have to come through the front door. This is problematic when you have people downstairs that need to get to their car and the only way is to come through the second floor. Perhaps put a code on all the doors so no one has to wake up and let people in and out.

Great little gem in Destin

Adorable, beachfront property in Destin. We rented The Q during the off-season in order to celebrate my daughters 18th birthday at the beach. The building itself is clearly older however, this unit has been nicely upgraded and remodeled fairly recently. The decor was truly beachy. The owners description was very accurate so we knew just what to expect.Pros:Check in and check out procedures were very easy.Ideal beachfront setting.Clean and well-maintained.Cons:The parking spaces are extremely narrow, not suitable for pick up trucks or large SUVs.The mattresses were very soft.Only two small kitchen towels and a single trash bag for provided for the kitchen. We made do, but we were only there for three nights. Had we been there longer we would have been washing the kitchen towels more than once.Extra pillows provided in the closets, however, there were no extra pillowcases for those pillows.Overall, I highly recommend this unit and I will likely stay there again for my next staycation.

Great option for a quick momcation

This was a lovely stay for our annual mom's trip. We loved the location and the accessibility of the beach. Walking distance to several restaurants and short drives to other areas. Pros: location on the beach, bed sizes in each room, spacious common areas, enough bathrooms for a large group, well stocked kitchen, extra chairs/umbrellas available, privacy of decks and common spaces within the complex Cons: the bottom unit is completely separate from the upper unit (this is in the description but we did not realize that you couldn't access the bottom unit without walking through the top unit, so we could not lock the top unit until the guests in the bottom unit were back for the evening). Parking is TIGHT. Full size trucks or SUVs will be challenging to park within the small spaces. The bottom unit is quite mildewy - no visible mold - everything appears very clean - but the mildewy basement smell is very strong. Not suitable for those with sensitive allergies. Overall we had a lovely stay and would book again, but would have made some different choices if we had known about the parking and the bottom unit ahead of time.

Great location, not impressed with management/cleanliness

Overall our stay was great, but there were a few issues. Don’t expect to be given more than 2 washcloths per bathroom and if you ask for more, get ready to do laundry. Also, the bedrooms upstairs somehow got the remotes to the lights and fan connected so when one room turned off their fan, it turned off in the second bedroom… same with the lights. That was not appreciated since one room liked to sleep later than the other and we were constantly woke up by lights turning on and off. Also, be sure and bring dish soap with you as it’s not provided. I was told the kitchen sink is not meant for handwashing and they left dishwasher packets so that would suffice. To me, that’s just gross and a horrible pain in the rear to have to go to the bathroom to wash hands after/before preparing food. Lastly, the cleanliness could have been better there was dust on the ceiling and ceiling fans and a mystery sticky substance on the master bedroom wall that we had to clean. Not impressed.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us! We truly want every guest to have a great experience, so I’d love to clarify a few things. We provide enough washcloths for the number of guests the unit sleeps. When you asked for more, we suggested checking under all the bathroom sinks (both upstairs and downstairs), as extras are usually stored there. Since we didn’t hear back from you, we weren’t able to bring any out, but we absolutely would have if needed. It sounds like the light switch remotes may have been acting up. We would have been happy to send maintenance to help, but we didn’t receive a request during your stay. Regarding the kitchen sink, we don’t supply liquid dish soap as mentioned in our guidebook and listing, and the dishwasher detergent provided is for the dishwasher only. The team member you spoke with was kindly sharing that information. We’re sorry to hear about the cleanliness concerns and wish you had let us know. We would have sent our cleaning team back right away to make it right. Again, we appreciate your feedback and are glad you had a good experience overall! - Forever Vacation Rentals

This place has amazing access to the beach! Location is amazing and the furnishings are comfortable. We didn’t cook there, but the kitchen looked stocked. It was nice to be able to use the beach chairs that were left by someone else. Overall, a great property.

Overall great location

Location was great! The place wasnt as clean as you would expect, beds didnt seem to have been changed and surfaces were dirty. I understand there is people out just a few hours before the next checks in but the cleaning company should have plenty of time to clean.
