Nice apartment conveniently located close to Metro, shops, dining. But needs better furniture.

We chose this property for its proximity to Metro and to our son snd his family, who live in the neighborhood. The apartment had been modernized-bath and kitchen are very nice, plenty of hot water, good heat in building. But our stay was unsatisfactory due to the lack of a single comfortable chair or couch/sofa in the entire place. Since pictures showed a couch. and some easy chairs, we asked the owner what had happened to them. His explanation was that the sofa had broken snd that a new one had not yet arrived. He made no effort while we were there to remedy the situation, so we moved the rollaway bed into the living room to have a place to sit. Kitchen chairs are hard plastic, chairs for dining table are folding type that go with a card table. I feel that the owner owes us a partial refund for failing to provide the minimum level of furnishings that one expects in a Homeaway rental.

As i told you the couch broke few days before you checked in. I promptly bought a new one which did not arrive on time for your stay and it was not for my fault. What other kind of effort should have i made besides telling you the truth and apologizing? The new couch is already in place and arrived 2 days after you left, as i told you on the phone. I honestly think i don't deserve 1 star just because of that. The chairs you mentioned are design chairs and yes, they are made of plastic. But i see you don't really have any taste for nice things. All my other guests gave me 5 stars, all of them. So there is something really wrong with your feedback.

Great location, great price!

We really enjoyed our time at Maurizio's apartment and he was the perfect host! Great location and super accessible to everything we needed. Really nice being in an Italian neighborhood as opposed to being close to city center.

What a great place to stay!

This is an amazing apartment. The owner was extremely helpful with all of our questions. He provided a binder with lots of recommendations for restaurants and other places to see in the area. When we experienced trouble with our phone, he called the taxi service and arranged for our taxi. The apartment is very clean and well taken care of. The owner's sister met us at the apartment upon our arrival and gave us a tour of where we would be staying. The metro is only a block away so we had easy access to all the places we wanted to go and see. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this apartment to anyone thinking of visiting Rome.

Casa consigliata!

Casa consigliata!
