Great view!

This was one of three studios on the property. Had I known it was the converted garage farthest to the back and away from the breezes I would have selected one of the others as there was no air conditioning which I overlooked when booking. Friends living on the island lent a fan and portable AC which made it possible to sleep. Beautiful views from the property!

I lived on St. Thomas for 20 years. I knew what I was getting: the cheapest studio available. Even so, this rental had a lot of challenges and I would not recommend it. The good: 1) location central island is great 2) low price 3) owner was responsive online (was not on property) 4) clean linens and comfy bed/furniture The bad: things you would expect as a local, but not enjoy for a caribbean vacation: 1) super steep and narrow drive-way 2) listing does not provide location of the property (luckily I knew my way around) 3) wifi was SLOWWWWW 4) the view in the listing is not accurate. the "patio" looks at the driveway. you will get this view by walking down the driveway a bit, or from the studio nextdoor (which has a real patio) 5) separate rentals next this one and above - I think the whole house is rented into 3 parts 6) a septic smell in the bathroom 7) toilet/shower in one room - you will get your feet wet 8) was told by the owner that I needed by buy my own bar soap - none was provided 9) there are mosquitos inside, probably entering through the window screens. bring a swatter if you have one

View of Paradise

We absolutely enjoyed our accommodations. The property was perfect for an escape with a beautiful view as we kept our tri- fold doors wide open and the feeling was incredible. Great communication with the hosts and the location is central. We packed light, ate light in the mornings and headed out everyday for some fun in the sun. The evening return was especially serene as it just you on the side of a mountain drinking cocktails and taking it all in. Highly recommended if your looking to get a way from the away:)

Pretty Room

It was very pretty and clean, and the view was nice! However we did not stay more than 3 hours when we arrived, due to a dog barking within the home. If there wouldn’t have been a dog, we probably would have stayed our duration of the time we reserved for. The home is located on the hill, so it is a distance from everything, I definitely recommend renting a car. Other than that, the room was very clean, just wish we could have actually stayed but couldn’t because of a barking dog.

BEST VACATION EVER

I have never written a review however my stay at Rosendal has compelled me to write one. Jonah and his wife are the best people and there place is the most beautiful in St. Thomas. High in the hills I got the privacy I wanted with a spectacular view of the water. They have three apartments each with an incredible view. I would highly highly recommend staying here. It is close to each end of the island as well as the airport
