Live your dream at Deerwood Mountain Lodge! This 3 level, 3 bedroom / 3 bath tastefully decorated chalet has all the amenities you desire in a mountain getaway. You’ll delight in breathtaking mountain views from the 2 partially covered wrap-around decks. Unwind in the covered Hot Tub, by the fire pit or in front of the living room’s gas log fireplace. Cook a delicious meal in the fully equipped kitchen, share with family and friends at the table for 6 where you’ll enjoy mountain views from the picture windows. Snuggle into luxury linens with bedding for 6-8 with the upper level bedroom’s king-with-a-view, main level’s queen, and lower level’s 2 full beds and sleeper sofa. How about some fun? The lower level’s Game Room boasts a Pool Table, Foosball, Table Tennis and more! The Ocoee Whitewater Center, casino, mini-golf course, and the largest antique/flea market in the county and more are a short drive away. New yrs get away

The location and view is amazing. Lots of games. Won’t get bored. They got everything you’ll need. No shower gel or shampoo. The only thing I would complain about is the cleanliness. I found a sock and cereal/food under the sofa. Would recommend it though

Wonderful!

My family and I stayed at this home while in the area to go white water rafting. The home was beautiful, clean, and spacious for 6 of us. The views from the porch and along the road going above this home were amazing!

Beautiful views, very nice amenities

Overall the layout was wonderful! I believe it’s a location thing with practically no cell service and WiFi extremely weak and virtually unusable. The hot tub needed to be cleaned which we did as it was kind of slimy but worked well. The house had large black ants that were invading until we sprayed and the driveway for motorcycles was not for a novice rider….it was unnerving every morning to climb the steep gravel driveway with 1/2 ton touring motorcycles. The 2 which had reverse parked by the house while the other two parked almost on the street at the top of the driveway. All in all a good experience though despite these few things.

Wonderful time in Cabin!

Upon arriving to the Cabin, We we're greeted by 3 Deer crossing in front of Us in the first vehicle, and another 12-15 Deer between my Vehicle, and my Husbands vehicle with 4 pretty new Fawn. How Exciting! They actually hung around in the curve behind Us while We All got out of Our vehicles. What a Beautiful Wecoming party! The Cabin was Gorgeous with the most Beautiful views! Cabin was Very clean and so inviting. We stayed for 6 nights, and went to the store one time. My 20yr. Old Grandson, 14yr. old Grandson, My 89 yr. old Dad, my Husband, and my Self truly didn't want to leave the following weekend. The Guys, and myself had a blast shooting Pool, played Ping pong, and there was also a Foosball table, Board games, movies, cards, Hottub, Grill and Tv's. We hiked down the road/mountain a couple times an back. We have stayed in a lot of places/Cabins, but this was byfar the Best, Cleanest, and it had Everything Our Family likes to do. Beds were very comfortable! We didn't leave except to pick up some extra food the second day there. It's not far to a Grocery store, (Engles) Walmart, Gas stations, and Resturants if You choose to eat out. Cellphone reception wasn't great, but We weren't that disappointed. We hope to stay again very soon! We Highly recommend this Cabin!

Amazing mountain retreat

I booked this cabin for a girls weekend and the entire group had rave reviews! Extremely clean with all amenities needed for a weekend (if staying longer I would recommend bringing additional paper products). Plenty of entertainment (media console, board games and bar games, hot tub) and a beautiful isolated view with a wraparound porch. If arriving at night, I’d advise using brights and approaching the driveway carefully since there isn’t a lot of lighting outside. Also, pick up groceries on the way into town since the closest Walmart is 30 mins out.

What a great place!

We stayed for a 4 night holiday weekend. We wanted to be away in a place with a great view and plenty for the kids to do. This really delivered. The only thing lacking was the internet was spotty, and we missed the smart TVs. But other than that it was great. Plenty of room. Beautiful view. Great time.

Amazing views…

The cabin was Huge..3 floors…all the space and amenities we needed. The hot tub was in perfect working order. Great for a soak at the end of the day. The community was quiet and private.. just a short drive into town. Host walked us through how to turn in the gas fireplace as we were unfamiliar. We couldn’t get enough of the long range Mountain View from the deck. We loved our stay! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Overall an above average experience.

The property was very clean; view was amazing. On the flipside: 1. Condition of deck is very poor in some areas. Family member was walking & the wood is very soft outside of one of the doors . It had a chair originally kind of placed around the soft spot that I guess we moved. We put the chair back when done. Pretty concerning safety item. If you're in the basement & go outside, you'll see all the old rotted wood under the deck from the previous repairs. Guess it was easier to just leave the wood down there instead of throwing it away? 2. The view is definitely nice, but there is a large area where a lot of trees were cut down that looks like a job that was half done & abandoned. The cut down trees leaves/ends are starting to die, so it wasn't like it was cut down the day before. It looks like some work was done to cut the trees down into more manageable sizes, but again the process just looks abandoned, takes away from view when at edge of deck. 3. A small thing is maybe to give 1 or 2 extra dishwasher tablets, instead of just 1 per night. We ate two meals at the house in one day & after the first we got the sense a second meals worth of dishes wouldn't fit, but we didn't have enough tablets so we ended up hand washing the first meal. Not the end of the world, but time that could have been saved w/ an extra tablet or two. 4. Couple articles of clothing on hangers in the loft bedroom closet when we arrived.
