Great place, great location & lovely host. Being three flights up was no issue as it countered the city’s wonderful pastries & gave the fantastic outlook that you will see in the photos. The kitchen/dining room was small but the winter sun that spilled into the room made the kitchen table with the windows thrown open a divine lunchtime hang. The delightful old streets are on your doorstop as is the main market. Overall, highly recommend this apartment.

Lovely apartment and town

Fantastic location at start of ancient wall. Near shopping and restaurant district. A short 10 minute walk to bus/train station. Apartment has a lot of charm and equipped with everything you need. Elizabeth was quite helpful and friendly. We loved our stay here. Highly recommend walking the Sant Daniel nature walk.

Perfect!!!

This place in Girona was perfect for our family vacation. Our family of 5 spent 2 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was a short 10 minute walk from the train station. The apartment was clean and well maintained. Elisabeth and Josep we gracious hosts. There was clear communication and they were very responsive to our texts. Would highly recommend this place to stay while in the beautiful town of Girona.

Beautiful city

The apartment was roomy and historic architecture. It was clean and a good location near the old inner city and downtown within walking distance. It was on the 3rd floor with no elevator and for someone with problem knees or backs, hard to manage. The parking was hard to find in a college area and expensive in a parking area ($29€ per night). So nice location and handy to stores and restaurants and the old historic city but hard to manage for elderly.

Awesome location close to old quarter

This is a nice apartment literally just minutes away from the old quarter, so lots of great walks and restaurants just minutes away. Kitchen is pretty small, but we didn't cook in it. Lots of stairs to get up to the apt - wasn't an issue for us, but it it several flights of stairs. While it has AC, it's only capable of cooling the living room and does not reach into the larger bedroom, so if the temperature is hot outside, the one bedroom will be hot. (the other bedroom is off the living room - but has no windows and you need to leave the door open to get the AC)

This property has lots of great reviews and they are all true. The apartment is a third floor walk up with modernized and clean kitchen and bath. The WIFI and TV (no English language channels) are good. The door locks are nice and strong. The location is great; a five minute (or less) walk to old town in one direction and a grocery store in the other. The location is safe. Our host was there right on time to let us in and was patient when showing the features of the unit to two quite tired travelers. Here is the reason for the low overall rating: Air Conditioning. The apartment has a small AC unit that only blows into the living room. We were there in July 2023 with daytime temperatures of ~35 C / 95 F. The nice large bedroom with the inviting view shown in the property photo is 25 feet down the hall and receives zero AC. We could not use it because it was too hot to sleep there. Instead, we survived our five nights by sleeping in the living room (which was cool enough but not very comfortable). Summary: Cooler weather - great place to stay. Hot weather - see above.

Stadtwohnung

Die Wohnung ist in der Innenstadt. Leider hat es keinen Parkplatz in der Nähe, wir haben deshalb ein Privatparkplatz in einem Parkhaus gemietet für 15Euro pro Tag..Sehr enges Parkhaus, zum Glück war unser Auto klein! Wohnung ist im 2.Stock, kein Lift. 2 Schlafzimmer sind Innenzimmer, Fenster ohne Aussicht. Das Aussenzimmer hat einen kleinen Balkon. Typisch spanische Stadtwohnung. Zu Fuss ist alles gut erreichbar, wir haben insgesamt eine erlebnisreiche Woche verbracht.

Near enough & far enough

The apartment in Girona was just a short, 5 minute walk from the city centre. Elisabeth was a great host who welcomed us warmly and gave us plenty of local and domestic information.

Direkt bij historisch centrum gelegen woning

Vriendelijke verhuurders, appartement is zeer proper. Gelegen tegenover stadsmuur. In enkele minuten is de oude binnenstad lopend te bereiken.

Overall, a great experience! With a few notes...

Overall, this apartment was perfect for our group of 3! The location and space is perfect. On a nice quiet street as well. One thing that I think is important to note if you need parking, the space does not have specified parking. There is a public lot nearby that you can pay $15/day for that the owners suggested. While technically there is parking available, if you are filtering places to need parking like I did, I think it is important to keep this in mind. Luckily, there is a university with free parking that is even closer than the public lot that was suggested which we opted for.

Die Wohnung liegt ideal, mit Blick auf die Stadtmauer. Absolut zentral. Alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Wir waren viel wandern. Nur die Stadtmauer entlang und schon geht's in die unberührte Natur. Wir haben die zwei Wochen sehr genossen. Der Blick aus der Küche und vom Balkon war fantastisch. Der kommunale Markt mit regionalen Köstlichkeiten ist nur einige Minute entfernt. Für spanische Verhältnisse sehr ruhig. Für zwei Gäste optimal. Wir kommen sicher wieder. Gracias por vuestra hospitalidad. Nos sentimos muy cómodos.

Hermosa Girona

We enjoyed our stay in Girona immensely. The location on the edge of Girona’s medieval wall provided a beautiful view from the apartment bedroom. With quick access to the old town, it was easy to explore and wander the streets of the town and walk the wall. Our host, Elizabeth warmly welcomed us to her apartment and provided information to get us started. We appreciated her recommendations for places to eat. The apartment was ideal for the two of us, but would also be an ideal location for an additional 4 people or family. The cosy kitchen would allow for the preparation of meals should you choose to cook. Other amenities such as the washer/dry came in handy. Thank you to Elizabeth who responded quickly to our call when I accidentally left the keys in the apartment. Gracias, Elizabeth.
