Cons: only small things involving property condition such as dishwasher not working, sink backing up, rugs sliding when walked on, lounge chairs hard to get out of, and kitchen lacking some expected basics. Overall: I would go again!!!!

Second visit

A couple of friends and myself come down each February for a week of golf. We stayed at fishbait two years ago and loved it’s perfect location for accessing great restaurants and golf courses. The bikes are a great extra paddling to seaside is no problem.

Fall Break Family Stay at Fish Bait

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location of this home within walking distance or a short bike/golf cart ride to the shops/restaurants/beach. It comfortably fit 5 adults and 1 kid and could have easily held 1 more adult and 3 more kids based on available beds. The only downside was the pool was on the small side with limited space if you have a large group and no real lounge chairs to lay out (more just Adirondack chairs). It also is shaded in the morning so we did luckily pay extra for the heating option as it would have been cold to use otherwise in October. Overall though very good location and the right layout for what we needed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall it was a good experience. It is centrally located in Grayton with easy walks or rides to the beach, dining and shopping. The property itself easily accommodated 4 adults and 2 teens. I did feel it needed a refresh. The entrance was a bit annoying because no matter how hard you tried you were going to track in sand. It needs something to mitigate walking through sand. Also I felt it was a bit overpriced for the location and condition but a lot of that is the ridiculous fees. Not unique to to rental company as they are all charging over the top fees on top of the rental price. Personally I would shop around to find a company that isn’t doing that. Regardless we had a great time...after all we were in Grayton with good friends, great weather and the Gulf.

Loved it!

It was a wonderful place to stay for my niece's wedding. Very clean and comfy beds! Renting a golf cart is a must if you don't have a car to get to the beach and restaurants.

Absolutely beautiful.

The house needs cleaning on the front exterior. We realize it’s the end of the traditional season, not the front entrance had mildew and black stains over most of the front door. The mat was so saturated with sand we couldn’t shake it clean. Having said this, the inside was perfect. The owners need to realize their rental rates today is quite a bit higher than previous years and attention to detail is very important.

We had a girls trip with 6 people and this house was perfect! Well stocked, convenient location to the beach, short walk to restaurants and shopping. Management communicated thoroughly. Would definitely stay here again!

Home away from home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 2nd time at this house. We simply love Grayton Beach, if we could, we would live here! The house was very much the same as the first time with the exception of a couple of things. 1st: love the grill outside with new table and chairs poolside, however, the grill only had half the burners working so needs to be replaced. 2nd: 1 of the 4 bikes had a tire that needed to be replaced. We called management to no avail except to fill with air....did not hold air, needed replacement which we knew when we called early in the week. The bike was finally exchanged 4 days into our stay which was disappointing.Our family does alot of our meals at home so we would have appreciated more casserole dishes, tupperware for leftovers, etc. Definitely not deal breakers, we will definitely come back!

Great location for great food, great golf, great beaches.

The beautifully renovated property was a joy to wake up in, and a pleasure to enjoy the company of good friends. I wish I could hire the same company to do renovations at our house in St. Louis. A perfect week.
