We try to make it a bit easier for our guests by providing a few "extra" amenities so that you can cook with more choices and have 3 TVs, which help out when the others want to watch different shows at the same time. Fall is by far, the prettiest time of the year!

Dear Kirsten; We were delighted that you found our kitchen well stocked, and the beds comfy and the unit clean except the sliding glass door. We will remind Tracy to look for that in future. We are sorry you found the coffee pot broken, and were glad Tracy brought a new pot in reasonable time. Internet. Here’s what happened: Yes, there was a city-wide outage. Simply power cycling the unit would have resolved the internet connection. Unfortunately, resetting the Modem to the factory defaults, resulted in needing someone in the unit to set it back up for the unit. This can’t be done remotely. Fortunately, I was able to do with our next guest over the phone with my assistance. To make sure this does not happen again, we will put a label on the back of the modem warning guests never to push the reset button. We will also look into getting a backup internet connection from our neighbor. I appreciate that you may have felt that some compensation was due for the lack of internet, however, I suggest pointing this out after you have made a critical review is not the best approach, especially in the light of the all the reasons for the extended failure. We are very happy to offer a discount if you wish to return at a later date. Sadly, the Vrbo review system did not give me the opportunity to respond to your complaint and make amends before your review became public. Kind Regards Carolyn & Colin
