Ok stay.

Poorly stocked. Air did not work and no response from property manager when messaged on VRBO (granted it was a Sunday but an issue such as air conditioning needs to be addressed immediately). Overall an ok stay if you are looking for just a place to sleep for a night or two.

Nice views of the beach from the unit. Mattress was old and uncomfortable to sleep on, coffee machine was gross and there were no mugs, neighbors upstairs were noisy, overall my experience wasn’t terrible but not one of my better stays at TOPS’L.

Fantastic beach get away

Perfect location. Growing up we spent a lot of time at Orange beach next to Gulf Shores and Miramar beach had that same feeling. The room was excellent with an amazing view and short walk to the beach

Perfect place for couple's getaway

This was our second stay at Tops'l. The first was as a family and we had a 2 BR unit with full kitchen, which was great for our family or 4 including 2 teenagers. This time it was just my husband and me. Our stay at 807A was perfect for the 2 of us. We don't cook when on vacation and prefer to eat out for an early lunch/late breakfast and then dinner with a few snacks in between. The studio had a mini fridge so we could store cold snacks and drinks and there was additional storage for dry snacks. A full sized coffee maker was in the kitchenette. The only inconvenience from a room perspective was having to wash dishes in the bathroom sink, but it wasn't really a big deal, as we only used the coffee carafe, coffee cups and wine glasses. A microwave was available but we didn't use it. This unit is close enough to the elevator to be convenient but far enough away that you don't get all the elevator noise. And the view is spectacular overlooking the nature preserve. The unit was very clean and the bed was comfy. We didn't use the fitness center, opting for a walk each morning instead so I can't comment on that. It is good to note that they have 2 limited menu restaurants on site, however, we didn't eat at either. We assumed the beach side restaurant was mainly chicken fingers and such so we didn't take a look at the menu until the last day and wished we had tried some of the items. They do offer some seafood dishes that sounded tasty. As far as the area... SanDestin has a lot of restaurants to choose from, but most are chains like PF Changs, Applebees, etc. so you have to do some research to seek out the local places. We at once at Surf Shack which is about a mile and a half from the property and has great beachside dining. The Summit building where this unit is located is not right on the beach but is very walkable, approximately 4-5 minute walk and you still get the great beach view from the balcony. The pool was nice and we topped off every afternoon with a half hour or so in the hot tub which was a nice break after being on the beach all day. We left saying that we would definitely stay at this unit again.

A perfect room for my short-term visit

This room was exactly as how it appears in the photos. This was my 2nd visit to the Summit property so I am familiar with all the great amenities that this resort offers. This room did not disappoint! I was super impressed by the level of cleanliness, upkeep and modern features of this unit. I was so comfortable with this unit that I would have extended my stay if I had the option. Thanks for giving me another great short trip experience Vacasa!

Beach escape

Better than a hotel and less expensive. This home offers a beach view, heated pools ( amazing even in Feb ), hot tubs, restaurants, fitness center, free movie rentals, all in a gated community.... For less than a hotel. Highly recommend
