Located 20 km north of Lyon, at the gateway to La Dombes, the Beaujolais, and the Lyon region, La Fontaine Camille Le Gîte is situated 2 km from the center of Neuville-sur-Saône.
Nestled in a rural landscape of rolling hills, springs, ponds, and a lake dot the Vallon des Torrières, a designated protected natural area.
Built in the 18th century on the former hunting estate of Camille de Neufville De Villeroy, La Fontaine Camille Le Gîte is a historic building spanning 10 ha.
This completely independent cottage, built of golden stone and rammed earth with a total area of 270 m², was designed to accommodate 14 people in modern comfort while retaining a rustic charm.
Central heating via heat pump.
Enclosed grounds of 3,500 m², parking spaces, and two terraces equipped with outdoor furniture (for sunny days).
An enclosed swimming pool equipped with an alarm that complies with current safety standards.
A spacious garden featuring a variety of trees and plants (palm trees, olive trees, Japanese maples, oleanders, etc.).
To help you enjoy this cozy retreat, all six bedrooms are equipped with high-quality bedding. The bedding is made of natural fibers such as hemp and linen, known for their health benefits.
Sheets, towels, and end-of-stay cleaning are included.
This cottage is ideal for large families or groups of friends gathering for an event such as a birthday or wedding, or for those who want to enjoy nature; it is not suitable for loud musical gatherings. Pets are not allowed.
A strategic location for exploring the tourist and recreational sites of our region: the Dombes, the Beaujolais, the Monts d’Or, the banks of the Saône, and Lyon.

Wonderful house, outstanding host.

It is very rare that all the guests when departing their holiday vacation premises will hug the host and be overcome with emotion. Such was our exceptional experience at Fontaine Camille. The home itself is wonderful. The two outdoor areas are perfect for relaxing and entertaining as is the large indoor living room. The swimming pool was ideal.The roomy kitchen is very fully equipped and all appliances are available. Bedrooms are spacious and the shower/toilets very clean - as is the entire house (inside and out). Each bedroom is unique and more than comfortable. However, for us the highlight was our outstanding host, Andre. Although our French was limited, he made every effort to ensure we knew the location of all the local supermarkets, restuarants, places of interest, wineries and whatever else we wanted to know. He became more a friend than a host. Saying goodbye was difficult as we could not have had a more magnificent stay.

Bonsoir mes chers 6 australiens !!!!! Que dire après tout ces compliments? Je dois vous dire que depuis le début de mon projet pour transformer ma maison en gîte, je suis passer par de nombreuses étapes. Les travaux dans une maison sont pour moi un plaisir. La décoration réalisé avec le talent de Brigitte ont apporté un succès très important dans les appréciations de chacun des voyageurs résident à La Fontaine Camille. Beaucoup de rencontres aussi avec des gens merveilleux, avec lesquelles j'essaie d'échanger dés leur accueil. Souvent je dis que le principal inconvénient de cette activité est la relation humaine trop courte, dommage car les gens sont intéressant. Mais là avec vous, et on ne peut pas dire que nous ayons eu de longues conversations avec votre français et mon anglais très approximatif!! Quel plaisir de vous avoir rencontré. Vous êtes pour moi ma RECOMPENSE, après toutes ces années de labeur. Nous n'allons pas en rester là. Il va falloir que je réfléchisse à aller vous voir en Australie. Je vous souhaite une très bonne fin de vacance, je crois avec des destinations différentes. Je vous embrasse très fort. Très très amicalement. André PS. Si vous aviez envie de venir ou revenir en Crête, je peux vous faire rencontrer Kostas qui parle très bien anglais, producteur d'huile d'olive ( Manolio) et chef cuisinier.

Super séjour entre amis

Très belle propriété très bien agencée. Tout était parfait. Des chambres magnifiques, bien décorées et avec une très bonne literie. Des pièces à vivre agréables et un extérieur que l’on a pu apprécié avec cette météo clémente. Un grand merci pour l’accueil chaleureux.

Agréable sejour lyonnais

Très belle maison rénovée avec grand espace de vie idéal pour réunions de famille. Les chambres sont majoritairement avec une salle de bain privative. Piscine agréable. Nombreuses activités possibles à proximité (forêt, monts du beaujolais, Lyon). Accueil convivial du propriétaire qui conseille sur les meilleurs commerces et restaurants du secteur.

André’s lovely house

We were a family of three generations who stayed in André's house during week 30, 2022. The house is fantastic, stylishly furnished and modernized. Rural art and design everywhere. Lovely pool and pool area, and a large and cozy garden with all equipment. André welcomed us and kindly showed us around, giving us all necessary information about the house, surroudings, attractions, restaurants and where we could shop. Many thanks for that. We had a super wonderful stay and André also came a few times during the week to clean the pool and check that everything was ok. Nice gesture. We can only recommend Andre's house and André as a host is very welcoming and informative. If we were to find something less positive, it must be the road that lies next to the house. The traffic was a bit of a nuisance at first, especially early in the morning, as due to the heat we slept with the windows open. During the week, though, we got more used to it. Thanks to André for a wonderful stay. Fam. Larsen and Mouritzen, Denmark.
