It was very comfortable and with all the appliances we needed. Very clean, nice decor, and the neighborhood had most things we needed as well as short walk to the metro to get around and visit old town Lyon and other areas. We would definitely stay there again if we visit that area.

Spacious, comfortable and updated amenities

Close to metro station which made it easy to navigate through Lyon's attractions and the train station for great day trips around the region. The apartment turned to be a great haven to relax and reenergize for the following day's adventures. Our host was awesome and flexible to cater to our special requests.

Great location and ease of communication

We had a great stay; everything was as expected. It was a little tight with four people but it still worked out well. The location was very convenient to the train stations and markets. Thanks, Robert!

Lyon apartment with balcony

Easy check in. Good size apartment. Very well equipped kitchen. Balcony not needed due to weather but good to have. A bit away from the main areas but trams and metro nearby. Bakery and supermarket a few steps away. Loved the apartment and will hopefully be back.

Large apartment in a great location

Apartment was large and very well appointed, especially the kitchen! Great location, in a quiet area, but very close to 2 metro stops making it very easy to get around. The self check-in was very convenient. Everything worked perfectly. There are bakeries, grocery stores and restaurants all very close. I even took advantage of the crossfit gym just down the road. I would absolutely stay here again!!

Great apartment

Apartment is clean, well equiped, well designed and nicely decorated. The apartment is clean and mostly inhabited by locals. The neighborhood is safe and clean. The neighborhood is in a big change phase, as i could see, many older buildings, but also a vast amount of new buildings which are being built. A mix of everything. I think this is also the reason, why there were several top notch restaurants in the vicinity. I would even claim, better than the tourist traps in the city center. The connection to the city is very good. Either you make a (longer) trip by foot or the metro brings you directly to the center in 5 minutes. Finding a parking lot was sometimes a little time consuming but it is free in the streets behind the building. The communication with the host and the howto manuals he sent in advance were perfect.

Great one bedroom apartment

My son and I stayed three nights at Robert’s apartment. Communication with the owner was excellent. He provided clear instructions a comprehensive pdf guide, and responded promptly to messages and emails in English. The apartment is in a quiet area of Lyon 1hr walk from the centre or 20 mins short walk and a Metro ride. There are plenty of bakeries, cafes and coffee shops close to the property and a large supermarket close to the nearest metro station (a few minutes walk away). It is fully equipped with lots of nice touches (ornaments, magazines, leaflets, maps), plenty of towels and brand new bedding for the sofa bed. The apartment is well laid out and has a small balcony that got some sun and overlooked quiet area away from the road at the back of the property. Enjoyed walking to the Basilica of Notre Dam (just over an hour) along the river bank promenades and through parts of the old town. Highly recommend staying at this property if you are visiting Lyon.

Das Apartment war sauber, mit der Küchenausstattung konnte man zurecht kommen.Tabs für die Geschirrspülmaschine waren da (keine Selbstverständlichkeit). Das Bett hatte eine feste Matraze. Bemerkenswert: Viel Info-Literatur zu Lyon.Der Gastgeber war per Mail für uns gut erreichbar.

"Comme à la maison"

Robert a mis tout en oeuvre pour qu'on se sente comme à la maison. Il est très arrangeant et soucieux de bien nous accueillir. L'appartement est cossu, joliment décoré et très bien équipé. Nous y retournons dès le mois prochain !

Schönes Apartment in zentraler Lage

Wir waren für mehrere Wochen in Roberts Apartment und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Robert hat uns eine PDF Datei zusammen gestellt, in der ausführlich alle wichtigen Infos zusammen gefasst. Das Apartment ist vollständig ausgestattet und das WLAN funktioniert super. Besonders der sonnige Balkon ist ein kleines Highlight. Robert hat es uns ermöglich flexibel an- und abzureisen und hat uns für den ersten Abend Getränke und etwas zu essen bereit gestellt. Insgesamt hatten wir einen super Aufenthalt und können das Apartment sehr gut weiter empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Lyon apartment

The owner didn’t meet us at the apartment but I guess that’s usual. We are Americans who don’t speak French very well so our bad. Couldn’t operate the appliances. Found the pamphlets for them the day we left. No manual was left explaining anything. Parking advertised was “find a parking space on the street.” Thankfully we had a car for only one night and found a spot 3 blocks away. We mastered the subway system and highly recommend you do the same. From the apartment to Vieux Lyon, 20 minutes at most including walk to the subway. All in all a nice apartment. Just think the owner could have a list of instructions in English and French of appliances, shower etc to let those of us who rent how to use them.

Superbe propriété!

Tout a été facile et agréable lors de ce séjour à Lyon. Informations pertinentes et faciles à comprendre, nous avons même pu prendre possession de l’appartement plus tôt que prévu. Et quel bel appartement, parfait pour un couple comme nous qui aimons avoir de l’espace et être entouré de belles et pratiques choses. Bien situé, tranquille, transport en commun près et accessible ainsi que certains commerces et des marchés publics. Nous avons découvert un arrondissement de Lyon que nous connaissions moins et avons trouvé de très bons restaurants tout près (L’Huîtrier, le Bergamote et la pizzeria Zeppo) Plus au nord, sur Jean-Jaurès, fromagerie, boucherie et cavistes extra! Nous garderons d’excellents souvenirs de notre séjour chez vous!
