We did a weekend in late October. The chalet was very comfortable, clean, quiet. Host (Cathy) was a good communicator. We will definitely rent again.

Owners were great, very clean & comfortable. Just be aware that the upstairs with the king bed is a little hard to access with luggage and if you have a dog.

Lovely stay in this well maintained chalet within walking distance to town. Very nice view of the water. Very clean and comfortable furnishings.We enjoyed our stay.

Schroon Lake

We had a nice stay. The cottage has everything you need. It is located very close to town. I wished they had shoveled the porch (We ended up doing that.) so I could sit outside in the morning with my tea, but maybe most people don't want to do that in the winter. The house would be an excellent place to stay in the summer.

Perfect Rustic Adirondack Chalet

Great location, close to town right on the lake. Rustic but clean and comfortable. All needed amenities and great hosts.

Schroon Lake for Solar Eclipse

Beautiful little cabin! Very easy to communicate with owners, beautiful view right over the lake. Lots of food options nearby.

Family retreat

Everything was just as described and we could not have been more pleased with the accommodations and our hosts. The house was just beautiful, cozy and welcoming. The scenery was amazing, it was so peaceful just watching the activity of the ice fisherman on the lake. Everything we needed was close by including a really awesome pub Flanagans- a must try great food and atmosphere. The start were so nice. Wonderful family weekend retreat. Would recommend the Chalet and Paul and Cathy and we will definitely go back.

Hasbrouck’s are great hosts

Paul and Cathy are outstanding hosts. Comfortable lodging, great communication. We have stayed with them three times in the past two years.

Summer Vacation

The house is great and exactly as advertised. The location cannot be beat. It’s an easy walk to town, restaurants and shopping. Cathy is a great host and very responsive.

We really enjoyed our stay at the chalet. The location was perfect for our family: access to the water (perfect depths for our kids to play), and proximity to the town within walking distance. We also really appreciated the owners' kindness and hospitality. Thank you for a wonderful week!

Chalet - close to Schroon Lake Village

The little chalet on Schroon was very nice for a small party. My wife and I had a great time there (early June); enjoyed chatting with our neighbors who were renting the larger house adjacent to us. The new boat dock is really stable and secure- a big plus if you have a boat with you. The owners are very responsive and top of things. Not a fancy place - but comfortable and reasonable. ( no signs of mice which is a nice thing for a lake dwelling) And - the custom woodworking in the upper loft is fabulous; as is the picture window system looking out on the lake.

Fishing outstanding

My wife lets me pick a destination each year for our annual Fathers Day fishing trip. Outstanding accommadations, perfect for fishing. Close to NYS boat launch. WILL be returning next year, or before, if the hosts will have us.

This was our 3rd stay at the chalet. It’s exactly what we need, cozy yet plenty of room with comfortable beds and everything you need. Allowing dogs is huge for us. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Perfect Schroon Lake Spot

Super cute location right in the heart of Schroon Lake. Rustic living with a fireplace, comfy couch and nice king bed. Straight forward communication with the host along with quick responses. We definitely want to come back and stay again!

The Chalet offers a cozy atmosphere and beautiful views of the lake. This house is convenient to lake, golf, stores, and has all the conveniences of home. Gore Mountain is 25 minutes away. The house is within walking distance of stores, restaurants and the lake.
