My family & I had a very relaxing vacation! The river was beautiful & we enjoyed floating around on the tubes! We also enjoyed the hot tub! I would recommend this if you are looking for a place to relax & enjoy nature:)

We loved the property and the check in and check out process was the easiest we have ever encountered. The property was 100% as listed in the website. It was very private even with close neighbors. We found it very peaceful and quiet. Sitting by the River was enjoyable. I would suggest bringing drinking water and also passwords for Netflix or other apps. The space was very comfortable and the screened in porch was wonderful.

Super tidy house. Kitchen was well stocked with pots pans etc. Really nice screened porch. Our Lab loved laying out there. The river was amazing. Our Lab swam and ran all over it. Would definitely come back.

The house is in a great location, close to the town of Scroon Lake and beach, it’s right on the river and the kids had fun. House was very nice and clean.

We had a beautiful experience in this cabin. Very dog friendly, big yard for lots of games (if you’re into that stuff) water front property with a rope to pull kayaks out of the water to make it easy in and out. We had a pop up set up near the water so we could even be outside in the rain. Great location. We had such a fun time being in the river even though the water level was lower than normal. Close to groceries and center of town to make it easy to restock. We can’t wait to come back and return. Hot tub was clean and ready for us after our mountain adventures!

We're so glad the cabin's Pet-friendly space and big yard were perfect for games, and that the waterfront setup with the kayak rope made getting in and out of the river so easy. It's great to hear the pop-up let you enjoy the water even in the rain, and that the hot tub was clean and ready after your mountain adventures. Listing under amenities included “laundry”, but there are no laundry facilities on the property. The laundromat is several miles away in Schroon Lake.

Autumn visit

My wife and I (and our black lab, Miles) had an adventurous and peaceful time at the Black Pine Cabin. Aside being a little hampered from rain a couple of days, we were able to squeeze in some hiking and took my Jeep down Crane Pond Rd. to visit my childhood campsite. Jesse was a great host. We’ll be back!
