Großzügiges Haus mit Charakter, Riesen Meerwasser,pool und spektakulärem Ausblick aus allen Zimmern

Sehr erholsam! Mit unseren beiden Töchtern waren wir 11 Tage vor Ort. Das Haus ist hell und geräumig und atmet mit alten Fliesenspiegeln, ausgesuchten dekorativen Elementen aber auch genügend empty space Ruhe und Wohlstand. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten Wanderungen, Ausflüge und faule Tage gut miteinander verbinden. Der RiesenPool war warm und man konnte sogar im Meer schwimmen. Das beste in meinen Augen war jedoch der grandiose Ausblick aus jedem der drei Schlafzimmer: Sonnenaufgang über blauem Meer, mit kleinen Schiffchen vor Inseln im Hintergrund. Einfach toll. Dieser Blick war einfach immer da, wenn man sich auf dem Anwesen bewegt hat. Obwohl jeder von uns Erwachsenen sich gut zurückziehen konnte, hat die Architektur des Hauses auf unterschiedliche Weise immer wieder eingeladen, zusammen zu kommen: ob beim Frühstück auf der überdachten Terrasse, ob beim Abendessen oder Doppelkopf spielenam langen Esstisch, ob zum Gespräch vor dem Kamin in der großzügigen Sitzgruppe Oder ob zum gemeinsamen Seriengucken im separaten Lesezimmer. Die Lage der Villa zwischen Autobahn und landenden Flugzeugen ist speziell, aber insbesondere die Autobahn Nähe (hört man fast gar nicht) von großem Vorteil. Die Flugzeuge stören wenig. Parken auf dem Grundstück haben wir nicht hinbekommen, das ist aber kein Problem, da 30 m entfernt immer etwas frei ist. Der Vermieter André sichert eine gute Betreuung. Also, ich würde wiederkommen. Incredible location

The Salt water villa was amazing. The location just can't be beat. It's on a small side street where there are only about 10 other homes all right on the water. every room except the kitchen has an unobstructed views of the ocean. It's close enough to Funchal for easy sightseeing trips but way better than staying in the city. The home is warm and charming with a true throw back villa feel. The only down side is the home is in the path of airport but honestly it's not that big of a detraction. Andre was wonderful to deal with and very easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful house with wonderful hosts

This place was unbelievably beautiful. The house big enough for a family and is very well maintained. We had absolutely no issues in or around the house. As nice as the house was we were almost never inside it. The outdoor living space is not only picturesque but it has plenty to do between the pool, ping pong/foosball, and just sitting around in the ample outdoor seating. The host andre was so nice. While we didn’t need him, he checked in to make sure we were ok and gave us some excellent recommendations. The location was a relaxing walk into Santa Cruz where there were shops, stores, and a number of places to get food. My family and I all enjoyed everything about our stay at this wonderful house right on the sea.

Excellent villa in a Fabulous location

This is an amazing villa , in a fabulous location near Santa Cruz and Airport . Although conveniently near the VR1, we did not hear any traffic, just flights from the airport, which we loved spotting. It was next to the coast, and swimming in the Salt Walter pool was fabulous… even in February. The host Andre met us at the start and end. The villa was very clean, comfortable, well equipped and spacious with typical Portuguese decor. We did not use the games room, but would be good for younger kids. The BBQ was great on some nights, and other nights it was a short walk along the coast to Santa Cruz to sample their restaurants.

Great location for touring east end of island

Communication with the host was excellent. Accommodation as advertised. Very comfortable family home. Easy walk into town for good food and necessities. If you like plane spotting, you'll enjoy this location a lot!

The cornerstone of our stay in Madeira!

I feel that I'm repeating what many other reviewers wrote, but this house made a huge difference in our week-long stay in Madeira. And I'll tell you why: I grew up in Madeira and left when I was 18. Since then, I visited many times but never qualified those visits as "holiday". But for the first time in almost 30 years I can say that! The house is perfect. The style, the comfort, the sea, the sky, the hosts, even the location! Yes, it's right by the airport and the motorway, but believe me when I tell you that we didn't hear a single car in our stay, and the airplanes were noisy but actually quite funny to watch go by. And that only happens between 8am and 10pm. Mr. André was a sublime host, he gave us the necessary instructions but then also gave us the space and time to enjoy the properly. And every time I contacted him I got a reply within minutes. Perfect! The pool is amazing and the fact that it uses water from the sea makes a huge difference: no chlorine, a much more natural experience. The centre of Santa Cruz is within a 10 minute walk, there's a nice bakery, a few good restaurants, and the council swimming pools and peers. If you have kids, the only waterpark in Madeira is literally a few minutes walk from the house. It was a lovely and relaxing experience and I will definitely do it again and suggest it to anyone I know who visits Madeira. And to you too reading this!

Der perfekte Aufenthalt

Angefangen mit den vielen vorab Informationen von Andre wie auch die super Betreuung während unserem Aufenthalt, det Gastgeber ist wirklich einmalig. Auch die Lage, Sauberkeit und die Villa an sich sind unübertroffen. Wir habend den Meerwasserpool sehr genossen, auch den Garten mit den vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten. A little piece of perfection

Communication with Andre was excellent from time of booking through to our departure. Salt Water Villa is perfect for a family or a group wanting to get away from it all. The villa is beautiful with many homely touches. The pool perfect and the views to die for. Bring your snorkel as you can access the sea from the villa and embark on an adventure. Rooms are spacious, living space is plentiful with many home from home comforts. Can't recommend Andre and Salt Water Villa highly enough. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.

Fantastic house

We have had an amazing time. The house is beautifully furnished and is an excellent location, only a short walk into the town. Carla and Andre were really helpful before we arrived, and during our stay. We will have fond memories of our holiday there.

Dream come true

Maybe one of the best houses we ever had. Spacious, nicely furnished and decorated. Pool is amazing. The steady sea breeze accompanies your sleep. Best thing to do: float on your back in the pool and watch the planes landing just above your head - big fun also for the kids! The hosts André and Carla are amazing and caring. Truly to be recommended!

Großzügiges Beach-Haus mit Atmosphäre

Ein wunderschönes großzügiges Beach-Haus mit Meerzugang und Atmosphäre, in dem wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Die Nähe zum Flughafen hat uns nicht gestört, wegen der COVID Krise sind nur wenige Flugzeuge geflogen. Die Kinder fanden es ohnehin spannend, die Landungen zu beobachten. Gastgeber André ist wirklich so nett, wie von allen bereits beschrieben. Für uns war es das erste Mal auf der Insel, wir sind von ihr begeistert!

Tolles Haus als Basis zum Wandern und Entspannen

Super nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeber! Ein tolles Haus in, wie wir finden, unschlagbarer Lage. Die Nähe zum Flughafen stört überhaupt nicht, im Gegenteil, es ist sogar spannend die Flugzeuge landen zu sehen. Grundstück und Haus sind sehr gepflegt und die Vermieter wirklich sehr nett,serviceorientiert und bemüht den Urlaub so entspannt und stressfrei wie möglich zu gestalten. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet, die Ausstattung ist gut und alles sehr sauber. Ein besonderes Highlight ist der Garten mit großer Terrasse und gigantischen Blick aufs Meer und der wirklich tolle Meerwasserpool! Wir (4 Personen zwischen 27 und 32) haben die perfekte Mischung aus Wandern und Erholung gefunden. Wir kommen wieder und können das Haus und die Gastgeber uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

A beautiful villa. It was wonderful to wake each morning with such a fantastic view. The property had everything you could wish for in a brilliant location. The local shops and restaurants were of a good standard with more options available should you travel to Funchal. The airport is only minutes away.

What a fabulous place!

Andre was the perfect host. Our flight arrived early and even though the place wasn’t ready yet he picked us up from the airport, took all our luggage and dropped us off to sightsee in Santa Cruz just a short distance away. The place is just spectacular. The view is stunning and Andre did everything possible to make our stay special. When we return to Madeira we will definitely book this place again! Thank you Andre!

Mooie locatie en een mooi schoon huis.

Heerlijk verblijf gehad van 15 tm 22 Juni 2019. Het huis heeft veel pluspunten, maar ook enkele minpunten. De koelkastdeur gaat niet goed open, omdat de deur telkens bij het openen tegen een deurkruk van een buitendeur aankomt. De kleden op de vloer hebben geen antislip laag. Daardoor gleden we regelmatig op de kleedjes uit. Bedden zijn wat smal en wat te hard. Zwembad en de tafeltennis tafel en het voetbalspel zorgde voor veel vermaak. Met ons vijven hebben we een zeer aangename week gehad.

Fantastische Lage und grosszügige, geschmackvolle Villa

Wir waren für zwei Wochen Gast im Haus von Carla und André. Bereits vor dem Flug erhielten wir alle nötigen und wünschbaren Informationen. André wünschte uns vor dem Flug per SMS eine angenehme Reise, holte uns dann vom Airport ab und fuhr uns zur Villa. Wir waren sehr beeindruckt und freuten uns auf unsere Ferien in diesem schönen Haus und der Hammeraussicht auf das Meer. Um uns den Start zu erleichtern, zeigte er uns das ganze Haus und zeichnete seine Empfehlungen bezüglich Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants auf einer Karte ein. Danach fuhr er uns in den nächst grösseren Supermarkt, wo wir in alles Notwendige einkaufen konnten. André ist ein wunderbarer Host. Er kümmert sich wirklich um seine Gäste und ist immer für Fragen da. Wir haben gespürt, dass es ihm wichtig ist, dass es uns gut geht. Wir haben, trotz des nahegelegenen Flughafens und der täglichen Landeanflüge (welche uns faszinierten!), wunderschöne Ferien verbracht und können diese grosszügige und schöne Villa und deren ideale Lage nur empfehlen.

Wunderbar

Wir haben unseren 2-wöchigen Urlaub in diesem wunderschönen Haus sehr genossen. Das Haus liegt traumhaft, direkt oberhalb vom Meer mit einem großen sehr gepflegten Meerwasserpool. Die gesamte Inneneinrichtung ist geschmackvoll, blitzsauber, man hat mehr als man braucht. Nach einem Ausflug auf der Insel freute man sich immer wieder "nach Hause" zu kommen.
