Within the Palheiro Nature Estate are the Clubhouse restaurant in Palheiro Golf, that provides a mixture of snacks and meals whilst enjoying the amazing views over town and the sea. The nearest mini-market and a pharmacy are in São Gonçalo and about 1.9 km from the Villa. Two large branded supermarkets, a small shopping centre, other large outlets and the nearest petrol station are approximately 1.7 Km away.
The Garajau Beach part of the Marine Natural reserve is accessible by cable car, is only 3.5 km away. It’s the perfect spot for a nice swim in clear waters.
The capital, Funchal, is only a 15 minute drive away, and the airport a 20 minute drive.

Cleaning
Cleaning and linen change is provided every 7 days.
All linen and towels are provided, including towels for the swimming pool.
For health reasons, linen for a baby cot is not provided and you should bring your own.

Booking Notes
The advertised prices are based on a 4-person occupancy and supplements apply should anyone join you for any length of time.
To secure your reservation we require a non-refundable deposit or the full amount if the reservation is made within 8 weeks prior to arrival. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival.
A security deposit of 500€ is required, charged in advance to a credit card. This will be returned to your credit card within 5 working days after your departure, subject to the villa being returned in good condition.
The minimum stay is 07 nights.

Final details for check-in and driving instructions to the property will be sent 7 days prior to arrival. A contact number will be provided, and to be able to access the property, you need to phone this number as you are leaving the airport. It is your responsibility to contact and advise the number provided on the check-in details to advise any delays to the expected check-in time.
Check-in times - at the property - are between 16H00 and 19H00. For Sunday arrivals and out of hours check-in, alternative arrangements will be made and an additional cost will apply.
Check-in and check-out flexibility will be applied where possible, but this will depend on housekeeping schedules and the departure and arrival days of other reservations either side of your stay; a definitive answer can only be provided within 24 hours of your arrival for check-in and your departure for check-out.

If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment, please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations:

Leaving the airport take the dual carriageway in the direction of Funchal (road known as the Via Rápida).

Leave the via rapida at exit 13 signposted Boa Nova/P.Ferreiro.

 
Turn right to Estrada do Aeroporto, drive for approximately 1,5km and you will reach Palheiro Village Estate.

Turn left to enter the estate and we will be waiting for you at the entrance and open the barrier.

After passing the gate drive up the hill, first you will have a turn to your right, keep driving and finally another turn to your left. You will find Palheiro Ocean Villa on your left handside.
