Charming ranch house, built in 1901, located on an impressive 126 acres with amazing views, foothills, meadows and a stream. The house has been tastefully updated but still retains many of the unique and charming characteristics from the early 1900s. Come and relax, away from the hustle and bustle, on this beautiful mountain property and let the beauty of Pikes Peak and "The City Above The Clouds" refresh your soul! This home has 3 cozy bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen and onsite washer and dryer. The property is bordered by national forest lands with endless hiking and exploring opportunities.

Additionally, there is second home located on the property, (Prop ID 1959083) that sleeps 12 people, that can also be rented out to accommodate up to 22 people all on the same grounds.

Great place

We enjoyed it. Very close to town, Colorado Springs and the national forest. I texted the landlord twice and got an immediate answer.

Great stay!

We had a great stay at this home. It was very clean, very well appointed and in a beautiful area. We loved taking a walk with the kids around the property. Waking up to cows around the house was SO cool. It was so nice to be amongst the trees and have it quiet - but to be able to drive a half hour and have many activities and sites to see. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Clint was very responsive and accomodating.

Amazing!

This little cabin was more than enough room for our family of 6 and was equally stocked with everything we needed. We also took advantage of it backing up to the national forest by hiking! We will definitely be back. Thanks Clint!

Sweet Surprise

Quaint little house with more than enough room for our family of 6. With three bedrooms, everyone had own bed! Quiet location just outside of town, clean kitchen and TWO bathrooms! Would have had to spend twice the amount to get two hotel rooms, this was so much better, will book again if we return to the area!

Hiking in Pikes National Forest

Our stay on Zuni point was great! Pikes National Forest borders this property. If you love to hike as our family does you can literally walk out the front door, catch the Centennial Trail and find several trail heads from Mule creek trail to the Red Rocks. We hiked 7 hours one day without driving anywhere. Clint made things very easy for checking in and out. Awesome location, from Woodland Park, to Manitou Springs, to Pikes Peak and Colorado Springs! I would highly recommend this property.

Loved this!

Plenty of room inside, plenty of room outside too!!! Our boys (8 & 10) loved the property, best part of the trip they said! Really close to three disc golf courses and one traditional course, awesome. Outside of town enough to feel ‘away’, close enough to be convenient. Great host, great place, great vacation.

Good overall

This was a nice place to stay. We love the open land and how close it was to the rainbow falls riding trails. A couple of friendly recommendations, one would be to have updated cooking sheets. We wanted to make bacon in oven for breakfast but couldn’t because no pan to use. The knives also could be updated or sharpened. They were really dull for cooking. The windows could use some new curtains as well, when traveling with kids they need naps and it would be nice to have curtains to block sun light (front window). Overall we enjoyed our time and would most likely stay again.

An awesome home and property

My family and I had a great time here. The home is within walking distance (about a mile or so) from a National forest. There’s no air conditioning but you won’t need it because the altitude is high enough to enjoy cool days and even cooler nights in July. It’s only about 10 minutes from town so you won’t have to drive too far for supplies. The home is nicely furnished and the kitchen is well equipped for family meals. We would definitely stay here again!

Old Ranch

Everything was good. Only a couple small things that could improve…. The middle bedroom ceiling fan did not work and the LR could use a fan. Cow poop around the exterior of the house wasn’t to be expected but I get it since they put a cattle herd on it to pasture. All in all a nice, quiet place to stay.

Perfect little getaway

We really enjoyed this little place! We spent a week here with my parents and my kids. The house was perfect layout. Great space. We LOVED being outside though. Little closer to town than we realized but in the end that was alright. House had most everything we needed-other than real towels in the kitchen-not big deal-we just ran in and grabbed cheap ones at Walmart down the road. Other than that we really loved this place! Absolutely would recommend!! And my kids are already talking about when we can come back.

Amazing!

This was our second stay, the property is absolutely gorgeous...the house is spotless and comfortable. All necessities were provided. Perfect for kids, enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the mountains and meadow.

Outstanding Colorado Stay

The Ranch is wonderfully situated between the National Forest and all the convenience of Woodland Park. The 10 minute drive gives all the benefits of a beautiful Colorado town, juxtaposed to a 10 minute walk and you can access the national forest. Mule Deer we’re feeding right outside the kitchen window. Plenty of sleeping space for kids and family. The property management and staff are incredibly kind and accommodating. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Phenomenal stay. Clint was accommodating in all manners. The house is equipped with a full kitchen and appliances. Plenty of hot water and driveway for plowed after a full day of snowing! Highly recommended!!!

Beautiful and convenient getaway

Cute, clean, and cozy house on large private property surrounded by national forest lands. Great views of pikes peak and very convenient access to woodland park. Awesome family getaway. Only things lacking were indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit.

40th Bday Getaway

My friends and I had a comfortable stay in the cabin. The history of the property is everywhere. It was much closer to town and civilization than anticipated, which worked out ok, especially when we went to use the BBQ and found it was out of propane at dinnertime. Cozy, clean and convenient is how I would describe the listing.

Sorry about the empty propane bottle, I keep a spare on hand in the garage behind the house that’s always full. So, if you’re ever back and in need of something just ask and we can usually get it to you in no time.

Great Rental Property!

Country living

Quiet and relaxing, beautiful. Enjoyed the prairie dogs, hawks owls etc. Was close to everything we did. Very close to fishing at north catamount. My dads a notoriously loud snorer and we never heard him in the far room. Didn't even hear my mom on the tv at night. Slept great!

We enjoyed our stay.

We had a great time. House was nicer than we thought. Our family enjoyed also going out for a walk around the property. Beautiful views from up the hills. Highly recommended.

Family Fun in Every Way!

We loved staying here! The rural setting, but so close to town, offered us the best of both worlds! Night sky viewing, hiking and a short 5 minute drive to the local pizza place. The owner is very responsive and helpful. Truly one of the best VRBO rentals we’ve ever had.

Family vacation
