Guest Access:
Guests will enjoy complete access to all amenities on the property as the sole guests, excluded one locked closet in the back of the lower level bedroom walk-in closet. We do not offer cable TV or a phone landline. Cell phone coverage is good and enhanced by being connected to our free WiFi.
You have access to a protected Corner Park directly through the backyard gate. You may use the picnic tables but make sure to clean up afterwards.

Other Things to Note:
A wood burning fireplace has been added to the cabin in 1940. During the last scheduled inspection and cleaning we were advised the fireplace is no longer safe to be used. A major renovation will be needed in order to be brought up to code and deemed safe to use. Please be advised that starting a fire would be unsafe for your group and the building itself and we strictly prohibit it. Please reach out to your host if you have any questions on this subject.

So much charm comes with its own drawbacks. Being such an old and quirky building, the ceiling height on the upper level bedroom and some pass-throughs might be an issue for our taller guests. Please watch your head!

We pride ourselves in providing a clean and tidy space for all our guests. Due to high interest and accepting same day reservations, we want to allow our cleaner all necessary time to thoroughly complete cleaning and disinfecting tasks. For this reason we are not able to accommodate late checkout requests. Please plan accordingly and book the correct amount of days as to allow for a prompt 11 AM checkout time. A late checkout fee of $150 will be added to your reservation costs if house is not vacant by 11:30 AM.

Interaction with Guests:
Your host lives and works in Woodland Park, about 15 minutes away. She is easy to reach via messaging system or by text or phone call for emergencies. Phone number is available post booking.

I’ve stayed in Green Mountain Falls multiple times and this is the best place by far. I’ve stayed at. It was clean, had everything you can imagine, comfortable beds, great living room space and a great front room that had windows that allowed you to see outside. It was awesome to have coffee in the morning in that room, we even saw a deer in the backyard and front yard multiple times. It was a great place to be and it was in a great spot. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at this quirky cabin was wonderful. The rooms were comfortable and cozy, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the location was excellent. Being right off the main highway made getting in and out very convenient but you won’t even know the highway so close. Plenty of attractions well within driving distance of cabin made daily excursions easy. Thoroughly recommend this place for short or long stays.

This sweet property was exceptionally clean and very well appointed. Quirky is an accurate description as it is an older mountain home but it was also very pleasant and easy to feel right at home. The furnishings are modern and comfortable. We had everything we needed to prepare meals in and the up to date kitchen was well appointed. Beds were comfy and the host has very responsive. Would stay again, thank you!

This cabin is precious and very unique. It is well equipped with kitchen supplies. The backyard was secure and a great spot for our 3 chocolate labs to run around.The dirt path along the creek across the street was a perfect walking route for us and our dogs. They could get the in the creek and had a blast. Being 12 minutes from downtown manitou was also a big plus.

Super accommodations, well stocked with just about anything you might need. Small fenced area for pups to hang out. A great sunroom to relax and drink coffee. Very comfortable beds. Great location to Green Mountain Falls and Woodland Park. Must eat breakfast / lunch at The Pantry. Hosts are readily available to help with anything. Highly recommend this property.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful, spotless cabin in Colorado! Everything was incredibly clean and well-maintained, making it feel like a true home away from home. The location was perfect—tucked away enough for peace and quiet, yet with easy access to so many great spots, from scenic trails to charming towns and attractions. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and explore the area. Highly recommend!

Cute and comfortable cottage in great location

This house was in the perfect location to explore the beautiful Colorado Springs area. It provides the opportunity to escape while also being within easy distance of everything you need. The house was very clean and updated with all the modern comforts—fast WiFi, nice kitchen appliances, comfy furniture. And gorgeous views of mountains on all sides. Highly recommend!

Amazing stay!!

Wish we could have stayed longer! This was an amazing house, older but very clean and true to description. It was in a great location as well, lots of games for the kids and small reading nooks, and balcony. loved it here!

Getaway

We had a lovely time at the cottage. My girls loved the upstairs! We loved the sunroom area for our morning coffee . The trail across the street was nice to walk the dog, since the backyard was not mowed to let him out. We had a great time roasting marshmallows at the fire pit area. There are some low clearances around the house, especially the main level shower. I’m 5’0”, and even I couldn’t fit in the shower. So, we all used the upstairs shower. A bear did try to get in the trashcan and ended up stealing it, dragging it across the street into the field. But that’s nature! We have a fun story to tell. Overall, lovely place!

It was clean.

Cute and safe neighborhood. Lots of animals to been seen. Low ceilings and door frames, so if you are over 5'9 this isn't the house for you. Also if you have small children this property has lot of glass breakables and white rugs. Comfortable beds.

Perfect Location

We saw deer every day and moose 2 times. We walked down to the local bar, The Blue Goose, that had amazing pizza and great hospitality. They even let our dogs come inside. We walked down to The Pantry for an amazing breakfast and enjoyed the pond and geese. We visited Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Seven Falls, and Red Rock Open Space. All were within 30 minutes of the house. The pups really enjoyed the backyard. The house was very cozy and has great amenities. Oana and Beth are great hosts.

Fun Cabin

Place was clean and well stocked! Even had a few continental breakfast options. Beds clean and comfortable, rooms fairly spacious. Lots of spaces for hanging out, including sun room and outdoor spaces. Very pleasant! Be careful to close laundry room door before using the bathroom, LOL.

Loved our stay!

Chipita Park Cabin was the perfect place for our family on Spring Break! The check in process was smooth, the house is stocked with all the essentials, and is very clean. We really enjoyed sitting in the sunroom in the morning and evening. There are also several hiking trails nearby which we loved. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. I would stay here again when in the area. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Fantastic

The wife and I think this location is fantastic. There are almost an innumerable number of positive reasons to stay here, but here are a few. The most significant is it’s like staying at a friend’s house who tells you, “Everything’s there, just use whatever you need and enjoy yourself.” The house is well stocked, the appliances are new and very usable, and there is nothing you could want for. The house is also very pet friendly. The back yard is fenced so you can let the dogs out without worrying they will get away. We were able to communicate with the owners when necessary and they were exceptionally responsive. We have no complaints.The only thing I would tell others about, that is not related to the house itself, is to be aware of the limited (or in our case, no) cell reception. We have AT&T and I’m unsure if other carriers are better at the location. The Wi-Fi is fantastic but when you arrive, you are obviously not connected. When you receive the door code from the owners, take a photo of the message so you will have it when you get there, and if you lose cell service. We had to go back up to the main roadway to get reception to retrieve the code. Also, if you are around 5’9 or taller, be aware of the low ceilings on the top floor of the house.

Enjoying Family Time in the Rockies

We stayed in a charming and quarky cabin in Chipita Park Colorado, but soon after arriving and unpacking, the refrigerator stopped working and needed to be replaced. Our host came to the rescue and moved us to a different property in the same area. She even helped with carrying some of our luggage and was very helpful in answering our many questions. We highly recommend this host.

Being able to share this piece of heaven with guests from all over the country and abroad is what I love most about hosting.
