Summary:
Delight in the old-world elegance of this charming suite within a historic brick-built home. With its stately fireplace, wrought-iron bed, and vivid hardwood floors, the room evokes a vibrant, yet restful atmosphere.

The Space:
The house is a traditional Charleston single house built in 1852. It has been renovated but still remains its historical charm.

The Neighborhood:
The home is set in Radcliffeborough, one block from the Medical University of South Carolina. Vibrant restaurants, bars, and shops along King Street are a 10-minute walk away. The Mace Brown Museum of Natural History is steps away.

Getting Around:
You can either walk, bike or Uber to most any place. Parking is supplied onsite for one car and there is street parking available for other cars. We suggest an economy size vehicle to navigate the narrow downtown Charleston streets.

Other Things to Note:
There is a small ensuite bathroom.

Very cute room with very convenient parking. The communication from the host was great! Only note is that the Inn and surround area is very loud. We could hear movement from other residents easily and also were woken up early by street cleaning or sirens both nights. The location was great and very walkable.

This was great and accessible by walking to major areas of town while feeling very safe. The only issue we had is that the water from the shower/water closet leaks out a bit into the room when you bathe but we just put down some extra towels to solve that!

Enjoyable experience

Our accommodations were very nice. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The location was just what we were looking for as we could easily walk to popular areas. The property manager greeted us and was very hospitable.

The stay was okay for maybe --2 nights. Any longer, the tiny shower / commode combo became a bit much. You have to master that whole situation. The room was as described. I would add a comfortable chair for seating. The bench seating is not suitable.

Lovely room in beautifully restored house with great bed and AC. 10 minute walk to Holey Bagels (the best breakfast sandwiches!) and another 10 to King Street. If you have a car, there is plenty of public parking so easy to just drive to waterfront park or aquarium. We had a wonderful time and Karen was an excellent host!!

The room was super cute, clean, and welcoming! There were snacks, towels, robes, and a free parking spot provided. The bathroom is a small wet room but for a short weekend stay it was no problem at all. Since it is an “inn” you can hear other tenants walking around and sometimes talking. The host was very welcoming and responsive!

Was perfect for a girls weekend- tons of great restaurants and bars within a 10 minute walk! Private parking lot was perfect for our rental car as well- thank you!

We were very disappointed, blood stains on the bed cover ,the commode & bath sink was inside the shower , no table or seating area . Asked for a refund but the host refused . False advertisement and unethical . Please don’t stay here . We didn’t stay we found a motel room

I was equally disappointed to see that a guest would write a review that is absolutely without merit. Our cleaners are held to the highest standards of cleanliness. ALL bedding is changed after each stay, and pictures are taken of the cleaned room. Management also conducts an inspection. We found NO evidence of blood stains on the bed cover. The newly renovated bathroom is a small, modern space that features a sink inside the shower. This style is quite common in many hotels and homes, but perhaps it was the first time the guests had seen this. We, however, have plenty of pictures that depict the bathroom as it is. There is no false advertising on our rental. It is exactly as depicted in the listing. There isn't a table, but there is a tray for meals and a very large bench at the end of the bed as a seating area. We also provide complimentary wine and snacks, as well as eating utensils and dinnerware. The guests did not contact us until after they left. I immediately asked if they could provide me with a picture. They never responded, and I have not heard from them at all, aside from this review. It is unfortunate that they had to find a "motel" room in the area. If given the opportunity, we would have been able to find address any issues or find accommodations that suited them perfectly, as we have several great options.

The room was amazing and fit our needs. We appreciated the welcome wine Karen our host was a blessing to deal with and always was prompt with a response. The parking was a little tight, but we were able to manage it with no difficulties. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Charleston at the parson Inn.

Southern Charm

My daughter and I stayed at this charming suite over the Mother's Day weekend and couldn't have been more pleased with the accommodations! Its checks all the boxes: convenience, comfort, hospitality, communication with the host, value, etc. Located within easy walking distance to the city's King Street with its bars, shops and restaurants, the suite sported tasteful and welcoming furnishings, super comfortable bed, and clean linens. Additional extras like robes, house slippers, and a bottle of wine were like icing on the cake! Thank you, Karen, for hosting us! I would definitely recommend her property for your Charleston stay!

Great experience

Small and quaint rooms

The property was well maintained. It was near a noisy intersection but traffic seemed to quiet down by 9:30 pm. Great place to get in a good walk to see things. Property manager was very accommodating.

Adorable!

Loved the property & location! Close to MUSC, restaurants, fast food, coffee. All within walking distance but easy access via car as well. Easy to get to West Ashley area & Mount Pleasant. Very clean, accommodating, perfect! Small bathroom/shower but easy to maneuver. Thank you for the stay!
