Enjoy amazing views of the sparkling Gulf of Mexico from this *Newly Furnished* three story oceanfront condo!

Merely steps to the beach, Oceanview Townhouse No. 3, also known as Sandy Shores, is a 3 Bedroom/3.5 Bath townhouse located on South Padre Island, Texas.
This newly refurbished condominium will welcome you to beach relaxation with updated coastal furnishings and decor, along with saltillo tile and granite countertops throughout.

The first floor Includes a guest room complete with twin over full bunks and a full bath.
TV in master

The second floor showcases a high wall of floor to ceiling windows and doors, providing natural light for the living, dining, and kitchen areas. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare and serve family or group meals, with a large dining table and countertop seating. Guests can enjoy fantastic ocean views when stepping out on the balcony off of the living room, that also features a flat screen TV and plenty of room for guests to lounge in comfort. The Second floor also entails a full bath with a walk in shower.

The third floor floor features two spacious suites furnished with pillow top king sized beds, bathrooms and ample closets. There is a flat screen TV in the master bedroom.
The Third floor bathroom area consists of two bathrooms with shared tub shower (jack and Jill)

Guests are welcome to use the downstairs garage to park an extra vehicle or store beach gear and toys.

Every stay at Oceanview Townhouse #3 includes a complimentary starter kit stocked with essential vacation items such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, laundry detergent, coffee and filters, olive oil, and basic seasonings. For your comfort, we recommend bringing a few personal favorites such as beach towels, sunscreen, extra blankets, bottled water, or baby items. Love it!

Had a great time!! checking was easy! The location was right off the beach! my friends and I had a great time! I will say though if you have elderly or disabled folks might not be the best fit but they do have beds in the first floor since it's mostly stairs for each floor. That didn't bother us but just something to highlight. The place was exactly like the picture. I would definitely stay here again. Love it overall!

Above Average

Even though it received a fresh coat of paint, the furniture needs to be replaced. Very uncomfortable couches and bar stools are getting loose. Glad to see the window coverings got replaced but would be nice if windows were clearer. Understand it would be a massive expense to replace them. None the less, we like the proximity to the water and the fact there is a garage.

Not the best but not the worst!

This is a great location and not too bad of a place! First thing tha I would like to get out of the way is the parking! There is beach access parking in the same lot you park in! Do not park there or you will receive a ticket over night! It would be nice if there was a large sign or if SPI Rentals would have let us know this! There is a small sign that says not to park there but isn't really noticeable at night if you do not pay attention! Next would be the stairs in this place are very narrow and go up in a circle which is kind of a pain! The beds definitely need to be upgraded badly! And one of the rooms does not have a TV in it! Other than that it's a good place to stay at!

Great place!!

I don't have any complaints about this place. There was plenty of room for my 2 kiddos and me, along with my sister, her hubby, and their 5 kiddos. The view is great off the balcony, and everything went smoothly with the booking and check-out. There were extras we weren't expecting, like a Keurig (I could have taken my pods!), extra boogie boards in the garage and even a wagon which came in handy. I don't know that our knees could handle the stairs again but there were plenty of handles in the stairwell to assist. We loved it, and would return for sure!

We enjoyed our stay. Access to the beach was great! Parking was sometimes an issue due to others taking the condo parking. Also the stairs in the condo can be hazardous especially on the bottom step. Overall, the stay was great and the condo met our needs!

Stairs are horrendous! Fell down them multiples times! Property is ALOT smaller than it looks.

My family (6 adults and 1 teenager) and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Sandy Shores. We liked being right on the Starlight beach access so our walk to the ocean was simple and short. The fully stocked kitchen allowed us to cook many of our meals. The family room and bedrooms were warm and inviting. I hope we can come again!

Great experience

This property was a fantastic place to stay while at South Padre. The location cannot be beat since it's only a few steps from the beach! Everything was clean and in great condition. No complaints here and will definitely stay at the same property again!

Steps to ocean

I’m his property was perfect for our family. We stayed here with my best friend and her husband and kids. It was perfect that the kids were on the bottom floor and we were on the 3rd floor to eliminate noise. The kitchen had more cookware and gadgets than I have ever ran into so that was nice. The walk to the beach was so fast which made preparing lunches very easy. The only downside was the neighbor. If she talks to you just Ignore her. She did spray my family down with her water hose from her balcony because there was too much sand in her driveway.

Disappointing

It being our first time at SPI we were excited. Once we were able to check in the disappointment started. The garage clicker didn't work! It smelled so bad like old wet dog. The stairs were so dangerous for my 2 year old boys. The windows were dirty blinds were dirty and nasty. The management or office people were just RUDE!!! The only nice thing was the it was close to the beach!

The condo was clean and all appliances were in good shape. The only thing we could not find were coffee filters but a quick trip to the gas station down the street fixed that. This unit is very close to the beach. It takes less than one minute to walk from the garage to the beach. We had a great stay!

Cute little townhouse

Cute little townhouse directly on beach access! Bunk room downstairs, kitchen, LR, and extra bath on main floor, and 2 bedrooms with Jack & Jill bath upstairs. Everything works great - but it could use some air freshener for the stairway. A stairway deep clean and some beachy candles would do wonders for this place!

Easy Beach Access, Great for Family!

We booked this spot for a quick weekend trip to the beach, and it was just what we needed for our big family. The house was clean and stocked with a lot of kitchen necessities for cooking and dining. We have a little one, and were surprised that there was a pack n’ play and booster high chair. There are box fans and oscillating fans provided as well. There is a very steep curved staircase that meant we had to keep a close eye on our youngest, but there is a baby gate provided in an upstairs closet if needed. There is plenty of space to spread out and lots of beds for sleeping. The bunk room was on the ground level, and the other two bedrooms are on the third level. We didn’t love being so far from the kids’ room, but they did fine. My in-laws complained that their bed in the loft was too firm, but my spouse and I thought the beds were comfortable. The beach was a few steps from our door, so we spent most of our trip barefoot. We were so close to the beach, we were able to walk home and eat our meals at the rental, so our food wasn’t sandy! It was easy for going back and forth with kids especially. In the mornings I enjoyed stepping out to run a few miles on the beach, and coming back to sip coffee and watch the sunrise with my toes in the sand! There are a lot of beach and sand toys in the garage, as well as a hose for rinsing off sand before stepping inside. We were very happy with our stay and would recommend this spot! We were sad to leave and think we’ll extend our stay next time!

Cute condo!

Was exactly what we needed for our large family of 8! Condo was clean and fully stocked with essentials. Stairs were very steep. Loved the location for the beach! We were right on the beach!

Property was located perfectly. However the stairs inside were horrible for senior citizens even in great shape. Need more light need better hand rails. Need to light better. Also rugs were a hazard.
