The hotel was nice, clean, and the staff was majority friendly. There was a smell thru out the main corridors of the hotel that was not very pleasant. The room was nice for the price. The elevator situation is horrendous! There are several elevator banks, but some were out of service. The wait times during peak times (I.e. check in check out, dinner times) were at least 10-30 mins to get on the elevator. Overall I’d give our experience 3.5-4 stars out of 5 mainly taking off for the smell and the elevator.

Hi Mike, sorry about your long wait times for the elevators. Unfortunately, this situation is the same in all high rises in Panama City during the peak month of July. Even though our resort has 7 elevators, one of them is under repair. The wait time is usually much less outside of July. As to the smell, I am not sure what you referred to but there may have been some painting going on the main floor.

The room was great! The only issue we have was with the elevators!! All of them. They didn’t work have the time and so many people would pile on because they was tired of waiting. We were on the 23rd floor so you can only imagine the amount of people waiting.

We are glad that you liked our condo, Conni! Yes, the elevators are a pain during peak holiday times. Memorial Day when you had your vacation is one of those holidays. The other is 4th of July. Other than that, we do not hear many complaints this year as almost all of the elevators have been renovated. Hopefully, you will have different experience if you come there outside of those peak holidays. Let us know if we can accommodate you again!

The long balcony and view by itself is worth the money! The room is clean, modern, and liked that its down a little hallway by itself (not next to noisy hallways). Loved the large balcony doors letting a lot of natural light through and let's not forget the king bed (so comfy). You could not ask for better communication with a host!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! The view was absolutely amazing and the condo was well furnished. Only giving 4/5 stars because our first night we had some issues with getting the AC to work properly but it did eventually start working and cooling the condo. Overall, would definitely recommend. The host made sure we had everything we needed.

The condo itself was exactly as described—clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. All of the beds were comfortable, communication with the host was excellent, and check-in was easy. We had everything we needed for a great stay.My only suggestions for the property would be to stock a few more plates and cookware, as those were very limited. I'd also recommend bringing extra toilet paper and paper towels. Only one roll of inexpensive toilet paper was provided per bathroom, which didn't last very long for our family. The condo deserves 5 stars. Unfortunately, the resort itself is a different story. I'd rate the resort 3 stars at best. The elevator situation was frustrating, with long waits throughout the day. The on-site restaurant was overpriced, and even when it wasn't busy, the wait for food was much longer than expected. The required thick wristbands were uncomfortable and left some pretty noticeable tan lines after a week."Security "also seemed inconsistent. While there were" strict" rules posted, they weren't really enforced. There was loud music at the pool from intoxicated guests, and the dress code didn't appear to be enforced either. The hallways are also very narrow, making it difficult to pass people carrying beach gear.We really enjoyed the condo and appreciated the host, but because of the overall resort experience, we wouldn't choose to stay at Tidewater Resort again.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We bought this condo as our dream getaway. It is perfectly situated right on the white sand of Emerald Coast with a spectacular view of the beach and turquoise water. Its private balcony is our favorite place to dine watching the sun setting into the sea. It feels like it's far from civilization, but at the same time, it is only a short beach stroll away from a vibrant and entertaining Pier Park Shopping Village where we can find food and fun. Tidewater Beach is also a vacation resort, so we enjoy its amenities and the party atmosphere that we cannot have at home. We have traveled around the world but this is our favorite place to return, again and again...

この宿泊施設の特徴

We have seen many condos in Panama City and this is definitely the best floorplan that we have seen for one bedroom/two baths units in town.
