The house was in a quiet, safe neighbourhood, well located close to restaurants, shops and Winnipeg attractions. Everything was close by.House was ideal for our family of 6. Clean, with plenty of space and sitting/lounge areas, well sized bedrooms (we were travelling with reasonably sized suitcases each), and 3 bathrooms. Easy to use laundry facilities. Good heating. Easy access with parking out front on the street or behind the house in designated spots. Kitchen, laundry and bathrooms well stocked.We had a great stay and would highly recommend.

FAIRYTALE DREAM!

This property was fantastic. Rustic, charming, immaculately decorated. We loved every minute. Walking distance to Safeway, Shoppers, Liquor store, restaurants - great location. 10/10 would recommend and stay again!

Great neighborhood but could use some repairs!

Great location but the property Could use some repairs! There were broken lamps, broken picture frames, molding. Freezer drawer etc. yardwork needs cleaning up and it would’ve been great to access the patio but overall a property with great potential.

Great for Groups

This character house checks all the boxes for a group of 6 adults in town for a weekend getaway. Convenient location only 10 minutes away from the Canada Life Centre. Very clean, with plenty of rooms that had plenty of room spread over three levels. It's bigger than it looks in the pics. There was no shortage of cutlery and dinnerware, as well as plenty of towels and comfortable bedding. Avril was proactive with making sure we had all of the pertinent housekeeping info, even offering early check in and a late checkout. Would recommend!

Adorable old house

We loved the character of this adorable house! It’s in an excellent location that easy to get to and has good parking in the back alley behind the house. There are many shops and restaurants near by. Our host was very quick to communicate with us when we had any questions. There was some ice build up on the steps that made for some fancy footwork coming and going from the house. The beds are listed as queen but they seemed a touch small for a queen. I didn’t bring my measuring tape so I might be just used to a king size bed. We would stay here again and would love to visit when the outdoor fireplace is free from snow so that we could enjoy that aspect of the house as well.

This Place is Awesome!

We were in Winnipeg with our adult children for a family wedding - a total of 7 people and stayed Fri to Sunday. The house is extremely well equipped and roomy. The decor is very eclectic and beautiful! Kitchen well appointed and the dining room sat us very comfortably. Bedrooms were all a nice size, with very nice bedding. It was also a quiet location. There is a backyard deck which we used a lot. We had three vehicles, and were able to park them all in the area behind the house. Also liked that the yard was completely fenced. We all commented that we would stay there again in a heartbeat. I guess our only disappointment was not being able to use the fire area in the yard. We had taken firewood with us, but it didn’t seem safe to set it up. Certainly not a deal breaker though. My rating for cleanliness was in regard to the outdoor space. The table and chairs on the deck were very dusty and there was a lot of dirt and leaves on the deck. Again, not a dealbreaker - wiped and swept it up.
