Welcome to DARE, 4 Bed/3.5 bath home perfectly situated within a few hundred feet of the ocean and a short walk to the shoppes and restaurants of the quaint town of Duck, NC. This family-friendly home is located in the amenity-packed resort community of Ships Watch and features a great floor plan with all bedrooms on the first level and the entire second level open for family living. The home features a huge great room with views and the flow is perfect across the living area, dining area, and kitchen. The lookout, screened porch and decks add additional living space. Equipped with everything you will need from beach chairs and umbrellas to linens, housewares and games; DARE is the perfect choice for your next beach getaway.

Ships Watch is a resort community, just a short stroll from Duck featuring oceanside and sound side upscale homes with large and clean community pool, tennis courts, events and a safe family feel.

A Lovely Week in Duck

Ships Watch (stayed in Dare House #4) turned out to be a wonderful birthday week for my husband. House was so big we invited other family members. House had everything we needed and lots of decks to hang out on. Drove to Cape Hatteras to see lighthouse and ventured out a couple of nights for fantastics meals. Also had tennis and pickle ball courts to ourselves - played almost every day - great weather! Our host, Marian was very accommodating- would definitely love to return next year the same time!

Our Review

I understand this is a beach property but found all the sharp knives in the kitchen were rusted. Some parts of the carpeting were not clean (master bedroom). The window coverings had not been dusted and there were cob webs and spider webs on the top of the curtains. Cob webs and spider webs on the ceiling also. The bathrooms and kitchen and appliances were all clean. Just felt that it would have been better if those above mentions items were taken care of.

Duck getaway

The property fit exactly what we were looking for in a getaway to the outer banks. Close to restaurants and the beach. Plenty of room for our group and well equipped. We had a problem with the toilet in the main bathroom and it was replaced. Looking forward to future stays.

Wonderful stay

We loved the Ships Watch community. The house was spectacular and a short walk to restaurants, shopping, the sound, and the beach. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely stay again!
