Classic NZ stay in beautiful surroundings.

The house and cabins allowed my family of 15 to enjoy time together but also have their own space. The garden is beautiful with spaces to relax and play games. The owner is lovely and communication easy.

Nice place, nice location

We enjoyed our stay at starry nights. It was great to find a home where all 16 of us could stay in one place. Comfortable rooms and beautiful gardens. Kitchen is rather small for the amount of people and broken outdoor furniture could do with updating, but overall a lovely stay. Thank you!

Note cyclists - STarry Nights is on top of a hill!

Note cyclists - STarry Nights is on top of a hill! We thought we could cycle to Falls Bistro for dinner but this is not a great idea! If you are riding the trail, just make sure you don't count on cycling back to the bach after a night out.

What an amazing house and associated cabins.

What an amazing house and associated cabins. Certainly the only place I could find in the upper north island for a large family gathering. With so many activities, walks, tunnels, and train rides just on the doorstep the kids had heaps to do. We will certainly be looking to come back one day. Cheers Richard.

Starry Nights was the perfect house for our three families.

Starry Nights was the perfect house for our three families. Plenty of space for all of us and a great location for exploring the Karangahake Gorge and surrounding areas. Lots for young children to see and do. The house itself was very clean and tidy and has a warm homely feel to it. The separate mezzanine was a perfect kids zone. Beautiful private garden too.

It was so handy to the national park for exploring, there were plenty of comfortable beds for us all

It was so handy to the national park for exploring, there were plenty of comfortable beds for us all, two bathrooms to cater for nine of us and a very pleasant outlook with a lovely garden for children to hunt for Easter eggs in! The kitchen had all mod cons and the cosy lounge room even had Shy tv for the sports lovers amongst us!
