Fabulous property with great sea views. Perfect for our whanau to gather, share good food and conversations. The outdoor area was a perfect place for the cousins to chat and enjoy, kitchen area was awesome too, perfect for a large group to sit and chat. Plenty of parking a bonus, beds very comfortable and a really warm house too. Information pack was a nice addition to our stay although the Wifi password information needs to be updated and there was no coffee maker but we had great coffee at the local cafe in Opononi and Rawene. Overall we all really enjoyed our time there and Will definitely be back.

Owners were very accommodating allowing for early check in and late checkout, the property was nice and clean it had all the facilities we needed. Was a great get away for us.

Great location. Fabulous view and walking distance to the Sands for a great meal. House a little tired and inconvenient to have to take towels , linen and take the rubbish with you, particularly when you’re on a bike

Very enjoyable stay

The bach had everything we needed for our stay and we enjoyed it very much. Even with rain and wind we had a good time exploring the area.

This was a great location close to the waterfront. A small walk along the road for water access. Fantastic views out to the sand dune. The house was comfortable even in high winds! Kitchen worked well for Christmas dinner and the following days. It's a quiet town, so be prepared.

Great Location & Space, but Needs Clearer Communication on MaintenanceWhat we enjoyed:We really appreciated the location, generous parking, and the spacious house, which comfortably accommodated our large family.Things to note:While we enjoyed our time together, several maintenance issues made our Monday-to-Friday stay challenging: Kitchen & Amenities: Upon arrival, a handwritten note explained that the washing machine was out of order and the left oven drawers were unavailable. While we appreciated the laundromat tokens left for us, no washing machine was tough for a big family. We had broken fridge shelves, and had to fix a kitchen drawer and the oven’s rubber seal ourselves to cook.  Bathroom: The shower head was faulty, and only one light in the bathroom was working during our stay. Safety Concerns: The note mentioned a hallway floor dip awaiting structural re-piling. Because the paper was crumpled and easily missed, a family member stepped on it and got hurt. Outside, the patio bench seats were unsecured, causing another family member to fall. We ended up having to screw and nail the benches down ourselves so no further accidents would happen.  Overall:The hosts are planning repairs, but these known issues should have been disclosed on the listing prior to booking. With clearer communication, this will be a wonderful place to stay

A wonderful, relaxing family holiday

The bach is exactly as described, the owner had great communication throughout and we really enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend this for a family holiday.

Great house in a great spot

We had a wonderful week at Claude's, popping over to the beach whenever we felt the need. Kitchen had everything we needed and of course the views that accompanied our morning coffee couldn't be beaten!
