I’ve hosted well over 100 guests across multiple platforms, and this was by far the most difficult experience I’ve had. From the outset, this guest was confrontational and dismissive. Despite clear rules, she tried to fit more people into the property than allowed, and when I called her out on it, she became aggressive and attempted to intimidate me. She was condescending in her communication, especially when I provided helpful instructions. Yes, our Sky TV connection was temporarily down due to a nationwide satellite change (which I explained), and I offered a practical alternative. The real issue came at check-out, when I discovered red stains that had soaked through multiple layers of bedding on my child’s bed. I reached out politely to understand what caused the stain so I could treat it properly. Instead of responding reasonably, she launched into an emotional tirade, spoke disrespectfully to my 13-year-old child, and abruptly hung up. I genuinely try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but in this case, my early instincts were correct.
