End of school get away

This was the perfect place for our end of school/Memorial day weekend stay. This location was perfect for roaming the property, getting to Fossil Rim quickly, close to the Big Rock park, as well as easy access to down town. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

Beautiful Farmhouse

This is our second visit to the Selah Farmhouse. It’s a special house built with love and we had a much needed respite. We were able to destress. We are so thankful Kimmie and Mitchell share their house with others.

Highly Recommend

Our family of two adults and four children under the age of 8 stayed here for several days as our ‘home base’ to explore Dinosaur Valley State Park and visit Fossil Rim. The home is as adorable as it is in the pictures and was extremely clean. The backyard was perfect for the kids to play in. We loved that the location of the house was close to Dinosaur Valley and Fossil Rim and to town, but since you’re on a large plot of land you feel like you’re in the country. The hosts were very kind and responsive. Would definitely visit again.

Lovely Getaway

We had the pleasure of staying at this adorable property this last weekend. Traveling with a 3 year old, infant, and two dogs can be rough, but we had the absolute best time! Our toddler loved the bunk beds, our pack and play fit nicely in the laundry room, and our pups loved going on walks exploring the property. It was great staying in Glen Rose to be able to do an early morning visit to Fossil Rim and we even had time to hunt dino tracks after naps with how close the house was to everything. We capped our trip with marshmallows over the outdoor fire pit. Thanks for the lovely weekend!

Perfect property!

This property was prettier than the pictures and could not have made our stay in Glen Rose more perfect! The hosts were as fantastic as their property. If we’re back in the area, we will look forward to staying here again.

Adorable Modern Farmhouse

The house is beautifully decorated, the the property is spacious and the owner is thoughtful and easy to communicate with. We had a relaxing weekend with our dogs. We enjoyed exploring the property’s and waking all the trails. Kimmie is easy to communicate with and has provided everything you need to feel at home. Staying here made me want to redecorate my own house—the furniture and amenities are beautiful. Perfect weekend getaway.

Wonderful property

We booked the property for my niece’s wedding and it was perfect! It was exactly how it was described.. the owner was very helpful with booking and the check in process was a breeze. The property was very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner for family members. We enjoyed the fire pit outside. It was a busy weekend and we will definitely book the property again when we have more time to enjoy it and explore the town!

Did Not Want to Leave!

We were thrilled to come across this rental as we were planning our visit to Dinosaur Valley State Park. This property was perfect for our family. Close to everything we wanted to do in Glen Rose (Big Rocks Park, Wheeler Branch Lake, Fossil Rim, and Dinosaur Valley State Park), but secluded enough that we felt like we were in our own little world on vacation. We liked adventuring around the property. The inside was simple, peaceful, and BEAUTIFUL! Great kitchen for cooking while looking out the windows at all the birds and deer. The owner was quick and responsive. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely Perfect

From the beginning to check out this home was perfect! Decorated beautifully, with so many extras to make our stay enjoyable. We loved the patio, corn hole, and the relaxing atmosphere. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed for a great getaway. The hostesses were especially accommodating and we greatly appreciate them sharing their darling home with us! Would HIGHLY recommend this property, we will be back!
