Love the Love Nest

This was the second time we've stayed there. It's so cosy and private - and with the fire in the winter, very, very cosy. It's also very well equipped with everything you need.

An amazing place in Hanmer

Sally and Alan's cottage is as cute as it gets! Not only does it deliver on looks but also functionality with a little study, a super comfy couch and a kitchen with everything... could not have been any better!!! Perfect hosts and an amazing cottage.... highly recommended!

Amazing experience

The romantic cottage is a rare find. Perfect in every way. We really enjoyed the outdoor tub. And the fire made it very cozy. I highly recommend this place.

A true treasure

We were only at Romance Cottage for one evening, we could have so easily stayed longer.The cottage was a delight and there everything we could have asked. Beautiful setting and a lovely Alpine setting.

We loved our stay, the cottage was perfect and very well appointed.

We would definitely come hack, we loved Hanmer, there is so much ti do. We ran out of time even though we stayed 5 nights!

Would go again. A small hob for cooking would’ve been useful. Microwave is quite limiting if eating in.

Hanmer springs cabin

Overal a lovely cabin. Well presented and a lot of love. Only thing. The cabin is quite close proximity to other cabins and not as private as expected. But a lovely job. Really nice people. Great service. Quality furnishings.

If you want somewhere quiet and private, this is it!

If you want somewhere quiet and private, this is it! So nice to find somewhere to stay almost without neighbours! Also well-placed to get to lovely walks in the Woodlands area but only 5-10 minutes to the downtown area by foot. This cottage has been beautifully refurbished which made our time there so pleasant. It had everything we needed and the bath is a special plus!! Perfect for a special get-away.

We have had holiday homes in Hanmer Springs for over 20 years. After all our children left home we decided to leave the busier city life to live in this beautiful village with wonderful walks and biking and fresh air! We set up our romantic cottage get away for couples to reconnect and nurture their relationship as we know many have busy lives.
We enjoy being of service and making sure everyone has a wonderful time and also enjoys our special Village.
