There is an impressive collection of board games and toys at this property. The location and numerous rooms is good for a big gathering of people. The negatives that can be easily remedied are supplying a hairdryer and including the disposal of rubbish. I have never had to take rubbish home before with bookabach and feel this degrades the whole experience. With bringing own linen, towels and having to take rubbish, the price seems a bit excessive. There are better bookabach options in Taupo to accommodate many people at more reasonable prices.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re pleased to hear you enjoyed the spacious layout, location and collection of board games and toys. We do have a number of properties that provide linen and towels; however, this particular property is an exception, and this is clearly outlined in the property description prior to booking so guests are aware of the requirements before confirming their stay. In terms of rubbish, the property is provided with a large black rubbish bag. This can be left at the property for our team to dispose of after your departure, including recycling. We appreciate your suggestion regarding a hairdryer and will certainly pass this on to the property owner for their consideration. Thanks again for your feedback.

Excellent property.That suited our situation well. Six single people, all had own bedroom, 3 bathrooms and toilets.. Plenty of room. Great value for money. Would definitely stay at this property agsin.

Home away from home

A great couple nights stay, excellent layout with the teenagers, their own space to hangout. Good location, short walk to local shops, great takeaways and pub. Lake at the end of the road, the kids had a blast, next time we need to stay longer.

Great location

A group of our friends stayed to do some adventures in and around Taupo. The house was comfortable and in a great location to access the lake, supermarket, restaurants and other attractions. Easy to find and affordable when shared with the group. Decently sized rooms with ample bathroom facilities for a large group

Group of friends for an event

All was slightly dated as to be expected, worst thing was the lower bathroom sink did not drain well. Overall stay was exceptional. Would definitely consider to stay again. Thanks guys

Our weekend away

Was a great place to stay, would stay there again. The only downside is that you have to take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave, unless you are leaving on a Thursday morning. No mention of this when booking. The last place we booked (about 3 km up the road) had bins and bags for this, not sure why this place does not. Bit of a pain having to sort this, other than that all good.

Good Large family holiday home

We enjoyed our weekend away but felt the house need a good extra clean. Food on the couches under the cushions. Good vacuum needed under furniture, beds and we had to re wash the plates as they were dirty. The roasting dish in the oven was also dirty. Bathrooms were clean. Place is tidy and great for our family.

Great location, plenty of off-street parking (for big vehicles/trailers).

Great location, plenty of off-street parking (for big vehicles/trailers). House well appointed, ideal for large family or groups like ours, with several bathrooms and endless hot water. Would have been great if the log burner central heating was up and running (found instructions on-line but no power connected to operate pump system). Heat pumps eventually warmed the house (June stay). Would definitely stay again. Peter B
