There are no strangers here, only friends we haven't met yet.

Come and live like the locals! Located steps away from Downtown Murphys, we welcome you to our cute little spot that is perfect for the vacationing pair to enjoy all that Murphys has to offer. Just mere steps from the home of over 22 wine tasting rooms, restaurants and shops, we are also located approx. 30 minutes away from beautiful Big Trees National Park, home to the largest living trees - the giant sequoias. Bear Valley Ski Resort is less than an hour away offering the perfect setting for the adventurer. Nearby Stanislaus River, Utica Lake, Union Lake, Spicer Reservoir and New Melones Lake offer fishing, hiking, swimming, boating or a picnic!

Begin and end your perfect, carefree retreat away from the day to day norms and "ughs" of the fast paced way of life!

What an adorable little spot and perfect to walk downtown. The hosts were also very responsive and able to answer any questions. If you are looking for a location close to downtown you can’t go wrong. So much nicer than a hotel and very clean.

This is a great place to stay when visiting Murphy’s. So close to the Murphy Hotel. The place has everything you need. It’s very clean and very relaxing. We will return next year.

Perfect location, perfect cottage

This cottage is exactly what a couple needs for a long weekend. It was comfortable, had everything we needed and just a short walk from main street. We would stay here again.

Murphys is lovely. Walk to main st. Was easy. Place was great. Reason for 4 Star instead of 5 is the weird shower, especially the pan, and lack of lighting near the dining table separate from the overhead light that also shines right into the doorless bedroom. Since one of us gets up earlier than the other this didn't work for us

It's interesting to us that you have these concerns, given that the property photos are clearly shown before booking, and all of the 'negatives' that you have provided are represented directly in the photos. We have created a spa-like experience in the bathroom for an elevated stay, which (most) everyone enjoys! I hope on your next trip to Murphys you find a more generic style of property that would better suit your needs. As we do with all of our guests, we did (to our best ability) work with you to accommodate all of your special needs and requests you mentioned before arrival. Great Stay

The wife and I spent two nights at this perfect location. Easy walk to downtown Murphys and a nice and quiet neighborhood. We will stay here again for our annual visit.
