6エーカーのマーフィーズのダウンタウンから1マイルに位置。 プライベートですが、リモートではありません。 新築のこの魅力的な小さなコテージは新鮮でユニークです。 暖かく、カラフルで、フレンドリーで、新しい家具とアンティークの家具がうまく組み合わされています。 快適さは主に、キングサイズのベッド、すべての綿のリネン、キラキラ光るバスルーム、眺めの良い大きなデッキ、美しいタイルと花崗岩のキッチン、居心地の良いリビングルームです。 また、クイーンサイズのエアロベッドがあり、星空の下で眠ることを選択した場合にデッキで展開できます。 インディアンロックヴィンヤードとテイスティングルームまで徒歩圏内。夕方はカエルやコオロギの音でいっぱいになり、星を注視するために明かりを消します。 鹿、七面鳥、ウズラ、ウサギが頻繁に訪れます。

This place is amazing!! Close enough to Murphy’s Main St. we were able to ride our e-bikes to and from town, far enough out of town, you feel like you are secluded all alone on the top of a mountain!! Beautiful view, comfortable accommodation, with a fully stocked kitchen. Hosts were lovely to work with and shared valuable information of recommendations for first time visitors. Thank you for this wonderful experience, we will be back!!

Lucky to have snagged this beautiful property for a last minute long weekend away. The cottage was clean, well-appointed, comfortable, perfectly sized for two, and wonderfully located for exploring things closer in Murphys and father up and down the road (caverns, big trees, wineries, Sonora, etc). The property and views are stunning. We appreciated the easy communication and check-in, and welcoming friendliness from everyone we met in the area. Would be thrilled to return.

Such an amazing weekend. The cabin is perfect. The view is stunning. The deck at night is a view to behold. The air conditioning was phenomenal (it was over 100 each day we were there). Secluded, private, and a fantastic getaway spot. Already talking about our next trip back.

Cottage was just as described. . . .quiet, clean, well appointed, great location close to town and local sites, beautiful views from deck, responsive host . . . everything you would want from a vacation rental and more. We would definitely recommend this property to others and plan to be back ourselves.

We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the cabin. It is equipped with an ample supply of anything you need (I know to pack less next time) Star gazing was amazing. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

Staying at Sophisticated Gold Country Cottage (4th July 2026) made our trip to Timber Trail Campground very convenient. It was only about a 15-minute drive, making it easy to visit our family who were staying there. The local area has gas stations, grocery stores, and other amenities nearby.The only downside was that there wasn't a laundry room. Otherwise, the place was comfortable and enjoyable. One of our favorite features was the balcony, where hummingbirds frequently visited while we sipped our coffee in the morning or enjoyed a late-night drink. It was a peaceful and relaxing way to start and end each day.

Cozy Cottage

Quiet and secluded with wonderful accommodations. Beautifully decorated inside and a super comfy bed also. Because the cottage sits up on a hill, the views from the deck and surrounding acreage are really lovely. Very peaceful place.

Quiet, clean and comfortable retreat in the heart of Murphys. All the ammenities of home with the addition of wildlife viewing and stargazing on the deck. Perfection!

The house location and setup is fantastic, giving you the privacy and quietness that I was seeking but yet close enough to downtown Murphys to enjoy the towns food and wine scene. Beautiful house all around and wonderful deck and vista!Note - had troubles with the wi-fi connection not matching house password nor that provided later by owner. If planning to do some important work you may want to check in advance about the correct wi-fi password...

We've been coming to Murphys as a get away for over 15 years. We love all the diverse activities that Calaveras County has to offer. We have always dreamed of having a place of our own in Murphys and have looked at properties in the area for over 10 years. We always prefer to stay in vacation rentals because it allows us to see different areas and different neighborhoods. We first rented this property in 2014 and immediately fell in love with the beautifully decorated cottage, the amazing view and the perfect combination of being away from it all but close to downtown. We were lucky enough to purchase it furnished in 2020. The previous owner, an interior designer, designed and decorated the cottage to be well appointed, comfortable and full of color.
As the new owners we will not be changing a thing! We invite those of you who previously stayed on this property to join us once again. We are happy to continue to share this unique and beautiful property with other travelers.
