A cozy retreat situated between the Gros Piton and the Caribbean Sea, Sunway Villa has everything you need for a relaxing vacation, whether you’re seeking a romantic getaway for two or an adventure-filled vacation. Sunway Villa is located on the South part of St Lucia, close to the Pitons, where there is always a nice breeze, only 35 minutes drive from Hewanorra International Airport (UVF).

Amazing pool and views

The villa itself is amazing. We loved swimming in the private pool. It was clean, deep and colorful, though a bit cold at first. We also enjoyed the expansive view of the sea. It was lovely waking in the morning to view the caribbean through our balcony doors. We also enjoyed learning too cook caribbean style in the kitchen. The air conditioner was quiet and effective, though we only used it at night to bring the room temp down a degree or two. There are plenty of things to do nearby. We drove to Soufriere to get on a snorkeling tour, and we drove into the forest reserve to go on a birding hike. We did not have time to hike the Pitons, but they are very close by. Driving to the villa was an adventure. There are two routes: one from the north and one from the south. The southern route passes through some villages that seemed a little creepy to us, so we always followed the northern route after our initial entry. The northern route passes through a nature preserve and the Gros Piton trail, so it's quite nice. Our only critique of the property is that it wasn't as private as we'd hoped. There is a little footpath which passes along the oceanside fenceline, and locals use it during the day. Also, the neighboring farmer came to the gate several times asking us to buy coconuts. He was also hoeing his field within a few yards of our back windows sometimes. Still, nighttime felt quite private and romantic, so overall, we recommend this villa.
