The place was nice, well appointed, clean, and had a great view. I would not stay here again though.I found the check-in process to be cumbersome. I filled out all the information on VRBO, but then I had to download an app and give all the same information. I would have liked to have all the rules and procedures set in place before our stay. Instead I kept getting texts from the app.We learned just prior to arrival that the power was going to be out for planned maintenance overnight on our first night. It did go out, and when it came back on electronics were beeping and we had to hunt around to figure out how to turn the alarms off.On our second night we were all awakened at 7:30 AM by someone grading the parking lot next door. I called the number for management but the on call person said they could only resolve issues on the property itself. A later discussion with management resulted in them saying they are not responsible but would give us 100 back.At check-out we got a text saying we also had to collect all the trash and then drive it to a location approximately a mile away. I am not sure why that would not be the responsibility of whomever is cleaning.

Blast at Big Bear

Great property, right on the lake. Walkable to the village, 5 minute drive to resort for skiing and boarding. Fast responsive staff. Condo very well equipped, kitchen well stocked, cozy fireplace, nice showers, plenty of closet space. If you are looking for a place close to the slopes, restaurants, tubing, boating and even bowling, this place checks all the boxes!!! You will not be disappointed.

4 - Satisfactory

Overall our stay was amazing. The only notable mentions are that the front door lock is nearly unusable and should be replaced. As well, in the main bedroom, there is a sizable gap between the sliding glass doors, that go out to the balcony, that i think could be easily fixed with a weather strip. The room stay extremely cold because of this even when we raise the thermostat. Aside from these two things, we have nothing negative to say. We had a great time and would definitely come again.
