Our host was very communicative prior and upon arrival. They even had provided an alternative location set up as their original placement was not treated well by previous guests, so he had to tend to that.

Comfortable Stay

The facility was very comfortable and well furnished with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The goat was communicative and always responded to our questions quickly.

It was okay, the place overall was clean and had what you needed. On the other hand I wish I would have read the reviews before booking, I didn’t realize a whole family lived above. The kids were extremely loud and stayed up until midnight or later. So if you want a quiet peaceful retreat this isn’t the place.

DO NOT STAY HERE ITS NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY/TIME/PEACE OF MIND. Booked for 2 days while passing through to BC.Upon arrival, my mom & I immediately noticed the space was not properly cleaned- bathroom featured feces stained in the toilet, dirty shower, hair in the shower, the counter, the floor. Personal items in the shower (used bar of soap, luffa) & only 2 half rolls of TP. Rings on the living room table, lettuce on the floor, wet hand towels. I msged the host, photos included. She claimed the unit had been “thoroughly cleaned”, and that the towels were wet “due to our check in time” (checked in around 4:15). The host refused to rectify the situation by granting a cleaning refund. The family upstairs were loud, which is fine as I knew I booked a basement suite.. however being woken up at 630am is less than ideal.The main issue began when I msged the host for more TP and another guest entered our unit to provide the TP, informed us that they would be throwing an event for over 65 people that night. No lock from our side which is extremely dangerous and illegal. We would have left if we had extra budgeted. The party went until the wee hours of the morning, and did not stop until I was finally forced to call the police. While the host was responsive regarding this, she was generally unhelpful and only had “sorry about that” as a response. Horrid stay, did not sleep and had to drive 10 hours to BC the next day. This property is a scam and should be removed from VRBO.

The accomodation was great, neat, and plenty of space for 3 adults. Met the owners once before moving in, spoke to them through emails, they were courteous and accomodating.Recommendations: 1. There was no iron/ironing board so had to borrow an iron from the owner.2. Since this was a basement apt the owner lived above,. it was difficult to sleep in late as you could hear all the activity from above,when the owner or their child was walking around or talking, you can not her the actual conversation just the noise of the voices.3. The master bedroom with the king size bed needs to have a mirror. I had to use the mirror in the hall or the bathroom at all times. 4. The internet was very spotty so difficukt to watch TV

The stay was okay for our short night there, but not the most comfortable. The dining table was missing - there were just 6 dining chairs pushed together, which was odd. There was one towel in the bathroom, but we found the rest in the dryer, along with socks and such. Some of the towels and chairs were stained. However, the beds were comfortable, the place was easy to find, and the neighborhood was quiet and felt safe.

Very unclean overall; bedsheets, furniture, dishes, shower etc… was visibly dirty. No bathroom tissue or paper towel anywhere available in the house. Very loud arguing, stomping, and children yelling coming from the residence above.
