This older house is located right along a quiet beautiful bay. You can sit right out front and enjoy the view. Or walk around to the park and watch the sunset. The house is clean and just as described. It was sufficiently stocked with dishes and cookware. And we really appreciated having a washer and dryer. There is a slight dampness in the bedrooms that might irritate some with allergies. Overall nice owner, perfect location & clean house!

We enjoyed our stay at this Whangarei Heads bach tremendously. Amazing location and comfortable accommodation. Maree and Brian are extremely responsive and hospitable hosts. We stayed 4 nights and it was not long enough to fully enjoy the area. Hope to return.

Beautiful setting. Our second stay and we love how you can just wander up to the Deck Cafe for dinner or chill out on the deck with the Bbq.Wish we could stay for longer...

Such a lovely Bach. Gorgeous location right on the water. Very comfortable living area and lovely big deck with BBQ.Great beds with hotel grade sheets and bedding.Maree was fantastic with communicating and left treats and milk in the fridge for us.We felt so welcome.Wonderful area too. The walk up Mt Manaia an absolute stunner.Incredible bush and views from the top.Highly recommended.

Perfect Beach house

A lovely place stay. Very comfortable bed and nice hot shower.Beautifully positioned with a peaceful outlook over the bay. Walk up to the cafe and chip shop. Lots to do in the area or just sit and enjoy the nice deck to relax with comfortable chairs and BBQ.House had everything we needed, couldnt fault it. Would love to stay again.

Lovely bach

Idyllic location and lovely clean bach, we had a fantastic stay with our three kids. Host was prompt and helpful with communications. Only issue was the blocked shower we had 1 min showers each but am sure that will be sorted. Would recommend and stay here again, thank you so much for use of your house.

A beautiful stay for my mother during our wedding she absolutely loved it. The hosts were amazing, even helped us to recover a forgotten device. 10/10 recommend.

Cute and cozy place

The bach was the perfect spot for a girls trip to read and relax for a few days. It was clean and tidy. The host was responsive to questions and there was even a handy info pack with things to do locally and places to eat.

Perfect home away from home

We loved our stay! Communication with Maree was great from the get go. The place was clean and tidy, and had all the extra things to make for a great stay - bbq, bean bags, snorkels and kayak, a few treats in the kitchen to help us settle in. The pull out sofa was so handy, and the beds were all very comfortable. Maree had a great booklet with all the local recommendations to help us make the most of our stay. We loved the Mt Manaia walk - gorgeous views across the area. Definitely reccommend!

Great place

The property was well kept with amazing views of the water and mountains surrounding the Whangarei Heads area. The hosts kept in contact with us during our stay and were super helpful with any questions we had. A nice little getaway for a few days, thanks for having us!

It was a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect. The house was fully equipped and the location was amazing. The sea was beautiful and they even provided kayaks. We didn't want to leave.

Small Piece of Paradise

We really enjoyed our stay at the bach. It’s super cozy and we felt right at home. It is very well equipped and had everything we needed. There is even a kayak we were allowed to use. The owners are very responsive and helpful.The shack is located at the end of a cut-de-sac and therefore very quiet. There’s lots to do in Whangarei Heads esp if you like walks in nature. Would definitely recommend it!
