We have shared our slice of paradise with beloved guests ages 1 to 91 and everything in between. We opened up a few extra dates due to demand.
If you are looking to relax and enjoy a different magical sunset and a glittering night sky filled with stars this is the place for you.

A note about cleaning - all cleaning will be in accordance with CDC - COVID19 sanitizing protocols

Classic Beach Bungalow has been lovingly restored with new windows, bathroom, and an outdoor shower.

2-bedroom 1 bath bungalow - plus a second shower - outside
bedroom 1 - Queen bed flatscreen tv water views
bedroom 2 - twin over twin bunkbed and another separate twin bed w/water views

There is a second flat screen tv in the living room.

You will enjoy the Sunsets; wildlife and all that this little bungalow has to offer.
You have your own private beach right here. Our little bungalow is where memories are made.

Diamondback terrapins, birds, and horseshow crabs will share this beautiful area. It is surrounded by a nature preserve. Sitting on the expansive Delaware Bay sometimes there will be some flying insects please take note. You will enjoy the sound of the waves lapping under the house.

You are away from it all but only 15 minutes from quaint downtown Stone Harbor and her pristine Ocean beaches, we provide beach tags for you during your stay. There are wineries one is within walking distance from the house (if you are ready to put your walking shoes on) there is the FREE Cape May Zoo and of course historic Cape May with their famous Victorian Houses. You are also roughly 15 minutes from the excitement and thrills of Wildwood with Morey's Piers and all the cool mid-century modern buildings and restaurants.

This house is cozy and just what our family wanted. The host was outstanding: very friendly, helpful, and responsive. The location is a quiet street and, most wonderful, the house is actually right on the water, so that at high tide the water is literally under the house and it feels like being on a houseboat. At low tide there's a beach right outside the back door. The location was one of the best things about this place for us; others we've had, on the Atlantic coast, don't, of course, come with sunsets, nor with such amazing proximity to the beach and water. The house isn't new but has some nice updates (esp. bathroom) and furnishings. It's super easy to drive into town or just up the road for meals. We plan to come back in the summertime.

Girls Trip

House was very clean and cozy! Nice add touch that paper towels/toilet paper/towels/sheets were provided. We enjoyed exploring the area checking out all the thrift stores. The Bellevue Tavern has awesome food!!! It is Definitely a must try. This was my first experience with VRBO and I am happy to say I was not disappointed. Kate was very easy to communicate with and responded promptly.

Great weekend getaway

My husband and I stayed at the lovely cottage by the bay for our babymoon. It was so quiet and relaxing and such a beautiful view of the water. Kate the host was very kind and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed being close to stone harbor and cape may while also feeling that we were really out in the calm of nature. Highly recommend!

Cute beach house with an amazing view

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was exactly as listed. Nice and quiet location right on the water with a great view. It was big enough for a family of 4 although the bathroom was a bit small.

Birthday Weekend Getaway

We stayed for an enlongated weekend to celebrate my sisters 40th birthday. The house was adorable, clean, and perfect for our group! The beach was beautiful, and the tide lulled us to sleep at night. Our only regret was not staying longer!

What a view !

Million dollar view ! Great vacation spot if you enjoy quiet locations . Bay view nestled on protected land for wide variety of birds , horseshoes , turtles. Great sea shell hunting !!

Loved it! Best hosts!

Lovely spot! Hidden gem! Super relaxing, you really are right out on the water and have a perfect private beach to relax on. Lots of great food within a reasonable distance. Highly recommend Steves Cafe / Georges Place / The Lobster house / 510 Bank St restaraunt!

A dream vacation house

Cute and special place!

We had a great time at Kate's place. It's very special and unique in its location, perfect for a couple or small family. Communication with Kathryn was very pro-active and she even accommodated a change in our dates due to weather. Highly recommend for a special experience.

Relaxing

The property was nice and cozy. The sunset was spectacular. The only thing that bothered us was the mosquitoes and bugs outside on the deck, would be perfect if it had a screen throughout the deck to keep out the bugs. Overall our stay was GREAT.

Great house and location

Even though the weather didn’t cooperate the wife and I enjoyed our stay here! She still was able to run for her marathon training and I still got my fishing in. We enjoyed the comfort and quiet this place offers. From streaming movies to relaxing on the deck enjoying the fabulous view of the sunset and water…….. this is fantastic place to stay!!!!!

Great Sister Mini Vacation

I had such a great experience with my husband last year that I brought my sisters this year. Great little bungalow on the bay - awesome sunsets - gentle lapping waves under the deck and house at high tide - interesting learning experience of the horseshoe crabs, seagulls and migratory birds. Our host Kate was awesome! So attentive and gracious.

Relaxing beach week

The house was perfect for our family. We spent a lot of time enjoying the screened porch and listening to the waves lap underneath us. Everything we wanted to do was just a short drive away, the beach, great restaurants, jet skiing, and the boardwalk in Wildwood. Our hosts were kind and checked in with us often to make sure things were going well. All in all a perfect home base for our summer vacation.

Fantastic Getaway

My husband and I wanted a family getaway before our boys (17 and 20) started their summer jobs. We all had a wonderful time enjoying the deck and screened in porch. The house was well equipped and the owners were great at communicating with us. We would recommend booking this home to anyone who loves a great view and charming home.

What a quaint, quiet little place . It was just as Kate described it. The tranquility was so restful and the sunsets were stellar, every day was different. We almost hated to leave . Horseshoe crab spawning season!

Loved the very private location and enjoyed the watching the crab mating season and all the seagulls. It’s a bit out of the way for nightlife or restaurants if that’s your thing. We enjoyed some time over in Cape May and on the boards in Wildwood! The house was very clean, and a thoughtful tray if snacks was left for us with a welcome note. This is the perfect place for a couple to really get away and have privacy. We really enjoyed our stay!

Absolutely Amazing Vistas

We stayed a week at this property and enjoyed every moment of our vacation. The bungalow was remote and quiet, which was exactly what we wanted. The wildlife was incredible to watch. I enjoyed collecting sea shells and sea glass every morning. The house was beautifully furnished and had a full kitchen, ac, ceiling fans, & wifi. Kathy was super responsive to all our questions and needs! We would definitely stay again!

We are obsessed with this place!!!

I have lost count of how many times we have stayed at this property because we don't even bother looking for anywhere else to stay! I think this may have been the 6th or 7th stay :-). There is something about this house and Reed's beach that is so special. The house has everything you need for a getaway with a few friends/family - both inside and out - and we hardly even leave the property when we stay. The house offers an almost completely private beach in a very natural setting where you get to take in all the wildlife and beauty the beach has to offer. If you want to see turtles, this is the spot! We spent our time fishing, walking the beach, collecting all sorts of treasures from sea glass to rocks...we even found a full conch shell this time :-). The hosts are absolutely wonderful and check in on us, remind us about sunset times, and have always fixed any issues we have had in a very timely manner. I am already looking for when we can book again this year! Thank you for another wonderful stay 3

Perfect Couples Beach Getaway!

Had such an incredible, relaxing stay here! The location was amazing. Beautiful views, quiet and quaint street. The back porch and deck were perfect to watch the sunset or sit out under the moonlight. The private beach was great and we felt like we had plenty of privacy overall. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean waves was magical. Kate was such a wonderful host. Quick communication and really went above and beyond to meet our needs. The house was stocked with all amenities we needed and very clean. Highly recommend! Will absolutely be coming back in the future!!

I saw the water views in the real estate listing and absolutely fell in love, that was it love at first sight. We got into a bidding war and lost out the first time When the buyer dropped out, we were waiting in the wings.

The most unbelievable sunsets and the water both breathtakingly beautiful. Close to town but truly away from it all. This is a place were you can recharge, regroup and just straight chill. The breeze, the sunsets, the water and the stars make for a memorable experience.
