This 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom penthouse unit in Dunes Village Resort offers a Direct Ocean View with a fully stocked kitchen, living room and dining room area, free WIFI and flat screen TVs in the bedroom and living room. This 775 sq. ft. 1 bedroom/1 bathroom penthouse unit is situated on the 14th floor of the Palmetto building at Dunes Village Resort. The unit offers a full kitchen with granite counter tops complete with dishwasher, in unit washer and dryer, free wireless internet, flat screen TVs and an incredible view of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktails while you take in the stunning oceanfront views from your large private balcony. The oversized bedroom offers two queen beds, a flat screen tv and plenty of closet space. The full bathroom features granite countertops and tub/shower combo with ceramic tile accent.

The resort is ideally situated in the exclusive north-end residential section of Myrtle Beach known as "The Golden Mile", which adds to the level of luxury associated with your stay at the Dunes Village Resort. Take advantage of unlimited access to Dunes Village Resort's large indoor heated water park that includes a 250 ft Lazy River, three Jacuzzi hot tubs, two adult-size Water Slides, a children's pool and a game room with pool tables and other games. The Resort offers a fully equipped exercise room, a full-service restaurant that includes a lunch and dinner menu, pool bar and food service and Seattle's Best breakfast/coffee facility. *The Water Parks are Heated and fully enclosed from November 22nd – April 30th.

The view is absolutely gorgeous. The kitchen is well-stocked with items if you plan to do any cooking. We did find a couple of roaches, but that’s not uncommon in SC hotels, and they were dead so clearly the pest control is doing its job. Nothing alive. The property company also did a pretty good job at responding to any concern or question I had. They also reached out to me and offered another night at a discounted rate when they realized they had a random unbooked day at the end of our stay. Our experience was pleasant enough that I absolutely said yes!

Family Vacation

Perfect spot for families, especially with a wide age range of children. So much to do and areas to hang out. We only left the resort to grab groceries. The beach was amazing as well. Beds were super comfy and the living areas spacious enough that we never felt on top of each other. The only thing I would recommend improving would be the cleanliness of high touch areas...door handles, door frames, refrigerator, behind the Murphy bed, oven...there was a lot of grime in places that were easy to clean with a Clorox wipe. Would definitely stay again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a great experience. Happy with all the amazing amenities available. Plenty to do for the entire family. For our first trip to Myrtle the location was excellent and condo was everything it said it was. Thank you for the amazing memories. We will definitely come back.

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was nice! The amenities at the resort were really great, food at the onsite restaurant was good. Check-in was easy, the view from the room was beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked, but make sure you bring more paper towels, laundry detergent, toilet paper, and dishwasher pods. We were 6 people staying for 3 nights so the ‘1 of each thing’ they provided wasn’t enough for us. The dining table was a little wobbly, but beds were super comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and blankets. One suggested upgrade would be the pullout sofa bed, it was very springy feeling. And the tv in the bedroom wouldn’t turn on.

The only thing I was disappointed in was we had to get in the car to go out to eat or visit shops. We are used to walking everywhere once we got to our destination. Getting in or out of the parking garage was not bad at all. We just weren’t prepared for that part of it. If you have kids it is the perfect place to stay. We do prefer a little quieter place since we are empty nesters. The checking in and out was a breeze. Overall we had a very enjoyable time

Annual visitors because we love Myrtle!

Condo was nice, we love Dunes Village Resort as we have stayed there in the past. We go to Myrtle every year during the 4th and the only problem was HUGE water bugs and (no exaggeration) tons of them on the balcony after dark so we were unable to enjoy it at night which I really missed especially for the fireworks. I couldn't even step out there after sunset. I assume it is no fault of the condo owners but Dunes has a serious problem with them and I won't return there unless they remedy this problem. As to the condo it was nice, beds comfy, and only a couple of minor inconveniences, TV in bedroom wouldn't work but would come on- I changed out batteries but still nope. A cute decoration in the bathroom was on the floor when we came back from the beach and that was weird so just left it where it lay but it did cause me to look around to see if someone had come in. I'm not a stickler so overall a great stay at the beach again!!

It was great! Easy check-in and check-out process! Great location and such a fun environment for kids! They had different things each day for the kids to do! Of course it was extra but still fun!
