No internet!(wifi signal was so weak that it didn't even register) No Tv! (brought our own and couldn't use it because of the wifi not working)No cell service! We left early. Cute cabin. Rough roads getting to the cabin.

That's correct this unit does not have a TV, this is listed in the description. Wifi is a new amenity here and it can be very spotty in the country. We're sorry the connectivity issues and access roads impacted your stay. We're glad you found the cabin cute and appreciate your feedback as we review these concerns with our team.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay! The cabin was absolutely perfect for my quiet getaway / birthday celebration! It was a bit old smelling but that's due to cabins being cabins. Absolutely love the porch swing to sit outside and just enjoying the fresh air. Kitchen was absolutely perfect with all items that were needed for cooking purposes! Did have a slight issue with air unit but it was immediately fixed thanks to your amazing maintenance team! I definitely see myself booking again in the future.! Oh also, I'm assuming the signage for Sanderson disappeared, it did take me a moment to find the place initially but I found it !

Thank you so much for choosing the cabin for your birthday getaway and for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback, we’re really glad to hear you enjoyed your stay! It’s wonderful that the porch swing, kitchen amenities, and peaceful setting helped make your celebration relaxing and memorable. We also appreciate you mentioning the few issues you experienced. As you noted, older cabins can sometimes have a “well-loved” scent, but we’re always working to keep things as fresh and comfortable as possible. We’re glad our maintenance team was able to quickly resolve the air unit issue for you, that’s exactly the kind of responsiveness we aim for. Thank you as well for the feedback on the signage. We understand how that could make arrival a bit tricky, and we’ll look into improving visibility so future guests can find us more easily. We truly appreciate your kind words and are thrilled to hear you’re considering booking with us again. We’d love to host you for your next quiet escape!

Nice Little Getaway

Nice little spot to get away. Place itself was pleasant and only a short drive into town. Road to the property is a bit rough (glad I drove a truck) and although this property is pretty secluded there are 8 total rentals on the property some of which are fairly close and can be seen from the porch through some gaps in the bushes. It probably says it in the property description, but there is no wifi or TV at the place, so just be aware. Additionally, the oven is really small, so don't think you're going to cook a large meal in there. Overall it was a nice place to be able to stay out of town but not be too far of a drive to anywhere.

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the peaceful getaway and the convenience of being close to town. We appreciate your feedback about the road, the property’s seclusion, and the amenities. We understand the importance of knowing what to expect and will make sure to highlight the absence of WiFi and the small oven more clearly in the property description. We’re happy you had a nice stay overall, and we’d love to welcome you back in the future!

The cabin is very well laid out and it was very clean both inside and out. All the amenities that were needed for cooking for available, and there were plenty of tools. Not having a TV kind of made it nice. It was a great getaway for the two of us and we would definitely would return again. Our problem was not with the cabin but with the hosts. The cabins do not have numbers on them they have names. When you enter the address into the GPS it gives you a general address and it doesn't tell you what cabin you're going to. We went to a cabin that somebody else was in and thought that they were in the cabin we were supposed to be staying in. This could have been better handled with the host had we been told this so that we could have avoided embarrassment of ending up at the wrong cabin. We finally did find the cabin that we needed and we enjoyed the rest of our stay.

Thank you for your thoughtful review. We’re glad you enjoyed the clean, well-equipped cabin and had a relaxing getaway at Sanderson at The Bend. We’re sorry the directions and cabin identification weren’t clear, resulting in an awkward mix-up. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will work to make arrival instructions clearer. We’d be happy to welcome you back.
