Suite 8 is the best! Stay with us and feel the highest level of comfort and cleanliness. Soft sheets, fluffy towels. Steps from a sandy bottom swimmable beach. See the ocean under the stars from our private rooftop Jacuzzi. Why choose Suite 8? Because you need this vacation, and we want you to love it. Soak up the sun and sea at Suite 8, on Corcega Beach.
The friendly Stella Community of Rincon is close to everything, stores, local bars and restaurants, gift chops and more. Snorkel the reef - gazillions of lovely fish - or just have a swim at the beach, which is steps from our front door. We also have 2 paddle-boards for your use. Or, just relax and enjoy the beauty. Play in the sand. (We provide beach towels, chairs and an umbrella)
Ours is the most spacious, well stocked, and private of all the Wave Coast units. Our style is modern and minimalist, while being fully equipped with top-of-the-line EVERYTHING. Furnished with comfy couches, local art, and the cool colors of the Caribbean. We have wi-fi, so you can stay connected, (but we suggest you just go off the grid and enjoy!).
Including the roof-top terrace, Suite 8 is a spacious 3-story property (2100 sq.ft.), air conditioned throughout.
Upon your arrival, you will receive an informative Guest Book that provides information about a wide variety of local attractions, excursions, beaches, restaurants, and resources.
The ground floor living space has comfy sofas and easy chair, a flat-screen TV, coffee table, and sunny windows. From the living area, sliding glass doors open to the patio with dipping pool and picnic table. Kids and adults will love to cool off and play in the private dipping pool, which is crystal clear. The patio and dipping pool are yours alone, and the entire backyard area is fenced in. Modern, well equipped kitchen with pots, pans, serving ware, wine and martini glasses, coffee pot, tea kettle and coffee maker, cutlery, pretty dish towels, and every cooking tool you could need. We even stock the paper towels and dish soap. There is a dining table with 4 chairs, as well as a "bar" with 2 stools.
There is also a modern, tiled ½ bathroom on the 1st floor with toilet and sink and mirror.
On the 2nd floor, the large master bedroom suite has a queen bed, large dresser with mirror, sunny windows, closet, luggage stands, 2 bedside tables with reading lamps, and full modern tiled bathroom.
The second large bedroom has 2 queen beds, bedside tables and lamps, 2 closets, cool local art, and another full modern tiled bathroom, right beside it.
6 adults can easily stay and have plenty of space, but it is equally great for a small party of 2. Couples on honeymoon or romantic vacations will be delighted, as will smaller groups of travelers. We also love kids, and have a 'pac-n-play', 'sippy cups', beach toys, and board games.
Soft bedsheets, nice bath towels, and beach towels are provided. We even have a "magic closet" with sample sized basic products that you may have forgotten (like mini-tooth paste tubes, deodorant, band-aides, etc).
Forgot to bring a book or finished the one you are reading? We have a small "library" that you can feel free to take a book or leave one for future guests. We even have books for little children.
Our gorgeous roof-top terrace has a private jacuzzi, gas grill, mini-fridge, table and chairs, lounge chairs, another bathroom, and ocean views. Great place for breakfast, a cocktail, BBQ, or star gazing from the hot-tub.
Our large, private garage is stocked with paddle-boards, beach chairs and umbrellas, snorkel masks, and beach toys. There is a FULL SIZE washer and dryer, because having clean clothes is a non-negotiable!
Everything you need is within a mile or 2 of Suite 8. Downtown Rincon, Farmer's Market, Art Walk, coffee shops, delicious restaurants, fruit vendors, food trucks, pharmacy, playground, a sports complex, and 2 modern grocery stores.

Andy and Robyn fell in love with Rincon, Puerto Rico while taking a vacation with our daughters in 2004. On a second trip to Rincon, in 2007, we stumbled upon our townhouse - still under construction at the time - and we were hooked. Andy was born in Venezuela. He spent his boyhood in the tropics. Rincon had the tropical vibe that just felt like coming home to him.
Robyn grew up in a suburb of NYC. She spent a lot of time at the beaches of Long Island when she was a girl, and has always loved the ocean. The warm water of the sea surrounding Rincon was a delightful surprise, which continues to enchant her.
When we are not in Rincon, Robyn is a special educator and Andy is an engineer in northern New England.
We have 4 grown children, who all LOVE Suite 8 in Rincon. They are old enough to come on their own, with partners and / or friends, and they enjoy it as much as we do. It's also such a joy when we can have time with them at Suite 8.
Some of our favorite things are the healthy life-style of being in the Carribbean: swimming, snorkeling, and paddle-boarding in the ocean, and eating delicious local mangos, avacados, and papayas. Thursday night Art Walk downtown, Tuesday evening Open Mike at Calypso Cafe, Sunday morning Farmer's Market on the Plaza, awesome restaurants and lively local bars(which are all kid-friendly), and often have live music, are amongst our favs. The community is safe, friendly, chill, and welcoming. We also enjoy being sluggos on the beach.

Suite 8 in Rincon was the perfect spot for us. It is steps away from the calmer part of the surf in Rincon, and we love that we can swim, paddle-board, and snorkel right off the uncrowded beach. It is close enough to the surfer beaches, so we can play at those beaches, too. But we love that we can leave the wilder, crazier scene to go home to Suite 8 in the evenings.
Suite 8 was built about 10 years ago, so it is still relatively new. When we found it, the layout, views, sunny windows, and solid structure of the building really impressed us. Plus, the end unit we chose gave us our own side lawn and extra privacy. We particularly loved the proximity to the beach, and peaceful, safe, and friendly family neighborhood.
We've maintained and upgraded Suite 8 scrupulously. You will always find it in excellent condition with fresh paint and everything clean, comfortable, and in good working order. We make sure to stock it with everything we would hope to find, if we were the renters.
We love the privacy of sun-bathing on the roof-top terrace, or slipping into the private jacuzzi in the evenings to look at the stars.
We find ripe mangos falling from the trees all around our property. We also love that, although our neighborhood is very typically Puerto Rican - with roosters crowing, and the smell of delicious Caribbean home cooking all around - most people speak English, so it is very easy to strike up a conversation with folks we meet.

The 8 unit building is very modern, but we are the only building of this kind on our street. The other residences are inhabited by local "Rincoeños." Our neighbors are very friendly, and take pride in their street and community.
The building is actually unique and kind of lovely, in and of itself. It is not a high-rise, like many of the older "condiminiums." It is white with blue trim, which blends with the ocean colors in a low-key, elegant way.
Suite 8 is also kind of environmentally conscious -
we use solar energy to heat most of our water (there is a back-up water-heater, which is very seldom needed).
Most of us come to Rincon for the relaxation, and the mellow island vibe. Still, we do enjoy the easily accessible 'sub-community' of health conscious and athletic people. Rincon hosts many sporting events for bikers, triathletes, tennis players, and surfers. There is a wonderful sports facility less than a mile from Suite 8, where you will see folks of all ages walking the track or taking an outdoors aerobics class, every morning.
