Escape to the peace and beauty of Wainui Valley Rural Retreat, just 10 minutes from stunning Ōhope Beach. Tui Cabin is our most bespoke hideaway, thoughtfully designed for romance. With a huge deck and expansive valley views, it’s an ideal setting for a honeymoon night, a special celebration, or simply a quiet interlude to unwind together.

Our adults-only retreat is created for relaxation and connection, with sweeping rural scenery and plenty of space to slow down. Wake to birdsong, stroll through the gardens, or set off directly from our driveway onto some of the Bay of Plenty’s best cycle trails. After a day of adventure, head into Ōhope to enjoy its beautiful beach and excellent restaurants. For thrill-seekers, we also work with a local helicopter operator to arrange breathtaking flights over the coastline.

Each of our three cabins is separated by lush New Zealand native bush, ensuring complete privacy. Along the way you may meet our free-range chickens, a couple of friendly cows, or Bo — our golden Labrador who loves to say hello.
