Almost very good...

We booked in July looking for a property near the centre of Honfleur with free parking nearby. I would happily have paid the full amount up front but there seemed to be no way to do so and we were advised that the full payment had to be made by 4 August. On the morning of 4 August I had still not heard from anyone and had to contact the host directly to find out how to. It is very difficult to stop immediately outside the property so I rapidly left my wife outside with all our luggage and headed to the 'free parking 150 metres away' only to find it required hefty payment. Eventually we did find a free car park nearly a kilometer away which we used for the rest of the week. It is disappointing that we were not informed that the nearby car park was no longer free and had not been for several months as it was prominently mentioned in the advertising. The property itself was ideally located and Honfleur delightful. The bedroom and bathroom beautifully presented, the downstairs lounge a bit shabby and could easily be improved, the kitchen pretty good (no microwave) but a little short on equipment. There was no kettle as the previous occupant had taken it home with them. In summary we would recommend the place but the host should have let us know in advance about the parking situation. The concierge were always polite and sympathetic.

Hello Richard and thank you very much for this almost very good comment :) happy that you appreciated the accommodation, for the payment as indicated above and in our cancellation conditions, the sole is to be paid 30 days before arrival, it is the shelter system that wants that .. your reservation having been made more than 30 day before it is normal that you only paid the deposit first.. the parking lot became payable a few weeks before your arrival, the ad has since been updated as you know. this allows all the same to park temporarily 200 meters from the house the time to unload the suitcases in complete safety and also it is free at night. the kettle was bought during your stay and we offered to bring it to you, you told us that you did not need it .... too bad! it has been replaced since your departure. the ground floor is as in the photos and has tastefully renovated equipment in 2021. good continuation for you both

Merveilleux séjour dans le cottage

Je recommande totalement ce logement. Il est tres bien équipé, la décoration est tres jolie, un soin est apporté aux détails, tout était propre, et la literie confortable. Et le merveilleux jardin partagé est un vrai plus. Il est superbe, et très bien entretenu. On s'y sent bien. J'ai rarement été dans un logement aussi bien, d'une aussi belle qualité. Je note aussi la réactivité et la gentillesse des équipes de la Conciergerie. Sincèrement : parfait !

Pour les tables et les chaises du jardin, nous comprenons votre observation. Malgré un entretien régulier, la météo normande parfois changeante, l'humidité ainsi que la présence naturelle des mouettes et des pigeons dans ce type d'environnement peuvent rapidement laisser quelques traces entre deux passages. Merci encore pour votre confiance et pour cette très belle recommandation ! Nous serions ravis de vous accueillir à nouveau lors d'un prochain séjour à Honfleur ! Sfeervolle kleine cottage

Rustig gelegen, smaakvol ingerichte kleine cottage, prima voor 2 personen die goed ter been zijn (steile smalle trap). Goed geoutilleerde keuken ( alleen een waterkoker ontbreekt). Prima bed. Het huisje ligt op het noorden en is daardoor wat klam. Fijn dat er een tuin is en we de fietsen veilig konden stallen. Het ligt buiten het drukke toeristen gebeuren op een kleine 10 minuten lopen van het centrum, tegen een wat steile helling. Leuk welkom met een fles cider.

Charmant cottage

Le cottage est tout à fait charmant, aménagé et décoré avec goût, avec en prime une tranquillité à toute épreuve. On y trouve tout le nécessaire pour un séjour agréable. Le cottage est proche du vieux bassin et le cœur de Honfleur est accessible très facilement à pieds. Il serait intéressant de préciser dans l'annonce que le cottage n'est pas adapté pour les personnes à mobilité réduite. Il est toutefois très difficile de se garer, le parking gratuit mentionné dans l'annonce est certes très proche .....mais très demandé et vite plein et toutes les places de stationnement alentours sont payantes. Nous y avons passé un très agréable séjour, et je recommande le cottage, idéal pour un séjour Honfleurais.
