Charming cottage in a vibrant neighborhood

Thoroughly enjoyed the Fox Hollow cottage in South Park. The interior of the cottage is beautifully appointed and modern, while maintaining period charm. Lots of little amenities in the kitchen made for pleasant mornings enjoying tea in the charming garden. A full outdoor kitchen and lounge area with fire pit make for cozy evenings. The cottage is clean and well maintained and walking distance to some of the great restaurants in South Park.

This house is absolutely fantastic! It is exactly as it is pictured and had every possible amenity we needed (and way more!!!). I wish we had more time to actually enjoy everything the house had to offer. Parking was a breeze. The beds were very comfortable, with a variety of pillow options (which was a huge bonus for me). The neighborhood is incredibly quiet and convenient. There are two cottages right next to each other but it still felt private even though the other cottage had guests while we were there. I would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay! The location is excellent. Walkable neighborhood with great restaurants and grocery options. Close to everything. House was immaculate and the beds were really comfortable. It was perfect for 4 adults. Loved the fire pit and yard. Would definitely book this place again!

Very nice clean cottage that is well appointed. Kitchen had a full complement of cookware and utensils. Outside foliage was beautiful. We would stay again anytime.

Property has two independent houses with some private and some shared spaces. We couldn’t hear our neighbors after hours, so we didn’t even notice the other guests.The beds are ridiculously comfortable, and we have talked about coming back just to recharge. There are some wonderful restaurants and stores within a reasonable walking distance. We felt like we could get around easily. Also, good street parking if you have a car.

We loved our stay at the darling, cozy Fox Hollow cottage! The home was incredibly clean with high end appliances, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and all the amenities. Our contact host, Becky,was fabulous!! We would definitely stay in the future!!

I am originally from San Diego and I come back frequently to visit. I have both lived in and stayed in places all over San Diego for years, and this cottage is by far my favorite. You couldn’t ask for a better setup and location. So many wonderful cafes/restaurants and Balboa Park are in walking distance, and downtown, Little Italy and the best beaches (including Sunset Cliffs) are a quick drive. I will stay here again next year!

We had an absolute WONDERFUL stay at this cottage. and the cottage was clean and well stocked with everything you needed! The host was very responsive and friendly! The grounds on the property were immaculate and the backyard was the perfect evening bonus. We will definitely stay here again!!

We had a fantastic stay at this charming cottage! The location was perfect - just a short walk to Balboa Park and close to great restaurants and shops. The private yard was a peaceful bonus. The cottage itself was clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable. We’d definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely weekend in this adorable, clean and amazingly well-stocked cottage. Late evenings by the outdoor fire pit capped off beautiful days exploring the city and catching two great plays at the Old Globe. So close to restaurants. Easy parking. We hope the cottage is available the next time we return.

Lovely cottage with a beautiful garden in a delightful, quiet neighborhood. It had everything we needed. Kitchen was well stocked. Parking was easy and A/C worked great.Lots of wildlife too! Didnt feel like we were in the city at all, but convenient to everything we needed. Great little grocery store a block and a half away. Also really good pizza a couple of blocks away.

On arrival at the home we were disappointed with the yard area as it had not been maintained and was not available to use for our stay as it was covered in cobwebs and debris from the surrounding trees and garden plants. The yard was the main reason we booked here and the home was a lot more expensive than others we looked at due to having this. We decided to live with it and make the most of our time. Unfortunately during our stay we found ants within the kitchen area. Again I understand this can happen when it gets warmer and was dealing with it until one morning I filled the water in the coffee machine and it had ants in the water that we had been drinking from ! When i then went to use the kettle there was also ants in it. I spoke to the management company who apologised and advised they would provide a credit towards our stay due to this. To say I was insulted with the credit provided is an understatement. This was falsely advertised with regards to the use of the yard and the ants just added to the disappointment. In terms of the rest of the house it was adequate and clean as described.

We are surprised that you would review us low as all guest love our place and give us 4-5 star reviews. We have regular pest control at the property and this was a one off situation. The backyard is tropical and lush however, wildlife is present and we are unable to ensure all natural debris and cobwebs are removed at all times. We're sorry you weren't pleased with the refund provided.

We traveled from far away and could not be more comfortable with the cottage amenities provided during our stay. It practically had everything we needed and more! The communication between the support staff and us was also excellent. The only part I should mention to future guests is the fact the property is located very close to where the San Diego Airport planes land and take off. We can hear planes over our heads all day long, in which can be a bit disturbing when sitting outdoors and enjoying the backyard.

Exceptional stay! We searched for weeks and couldn't find the right fit for our stay in San Diego and stumbled upon this one. I honestly couldn't book fast enough and was worried it was too good to be true. But the location was perfect, the home was perfect, so clean and comfortable, and had everything we could ever need. Seriously, this was the best stocked home we've ever stayed in. The beds were and pillows were so comfortable. And I think we spent 90% of our time on the back patio. It's a small house but even for a family of 4 (two kids under 10) with 4 suitcases, it was perfect. The neighborhood was great and quiet and we loved exploring the restaurants and shops. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
