We enjoyed this large house in a great location. Things that were awesome: huge rooms, all bedrooms have ensuite which allows for privacy with many couples travelling together, an enormous laundry with two washing machines and loads of space for skiing gear to dry, lovely fireplace and plenty of firewood, spacious kitchen. There were plenty of toilet rolls, lots of laundry detergent and kitchen amenities/appliances (although there was only one black garbage bag in the bin and no replacement). For the most part heating was good, though one of the heated towel rails was not working. Plenty of parking space for our two large-ish vehicles. It is a beautiful and easy walk to town. Overall, this was a great option for our accommodation in Wanaka.

Thanks so much for your thorough review — it's greatly appreciated! We're glad to hear you found everything you needed for your stay, aside from the rubbish bag. Airbnb supplies are generally intended as a starting point, but we’ll certainly take that on board. If it was the rubbish bags that led to the 4-star rating, we completely understand — though if there was anything else we could improve, we’d love to hear. Guest feedback and reviews are so important in helping our property stand out.
