Everything was great. Exactly what they stated it would be. I really enjoyed it and wouldnt mind going again. Everything was within reach! Absolutely loved it.

We were in town for a quick getaway to visit local attractions. The location was convenient to everything we wanted to do. The apartment is older but was clean, cozy, and comfortable for our 3 night stay. The only thing that wasn’t great is that it is located on a busy road and the morning rush hour traffic is noisy. I’m a light sleeper and it affected my sleep. However, that was easily solved with earplugs. All in all, I would stay there again!

This apartment is lovely, there are many original features, such as built in cabinets, which we appreciated, it was like a home away from home.The size and ammenities were perfect for our 12 day stay and for us, the location was perfect. We could get to the Interstate easily, our family was 10 minutes away and there a large Weis grocery store a couple of minutes down the road and the modern applicances and large bathtub and great water pressure shower were much appreciated.We visit every year and this was by far the best location for us. I hate driving in the middle of nowhere late at night, so I appreciated not being 3 miles up in the woods!

All appliances up to date. Bed was very comfortable. Lots of hot water. House/apartment is quite old and could use more updating. Several nights had bugs mainly in the kitchen and bathroom. Informed owner, who said he would spray after I left.

In general, the unit is fine. I have some mobility challenges, I look for wheelchair accessibility when renting, that way there are ramps and or limited steps. This listing should not have any accessibility wording on it at all. You should not have to contact to owner to confirm the accessibility items available. You either have them or you don't. You don't and the unit would need to have major construction to have them added. There are 6 steps to get to the door, another small step into the unit. There are small steps between the doorways and a full-size tub with no safety bars. There is no ramp into the unit. I also was concerned with how many items were plugged into surge protectors and the concern there was too much happening on the electrical.

Place is clean and has all the basic necessities you need for a comfortable stay. Grocery store is literally 1/2 mile down the road. ESU is 1.5 miles away, Water Gap, golf, Poconos/other attractions are easily accessible by highway which is close as well. As others have mentioned house is close to a busy road. Overall spent a very pleasant 3 days and will definitely stay here again!

Side of the house was really nice. It wasn't bad. It was very clean, but the outside of the house could use some work but all the heads growing up to the house it needs to be cleaned.

Peaceful stay

Perfect for what we needed. Short weekend, quiet place to sleep. Central location made travel to and from easy and great for ubering. Super close to main street bars and restaurants and 30 minutes away from great local hiking areas!

Great overnight stay

We stayed at James's property as an alternative to staying in an expensive resort. The property is just as listed and served its purpose. James was quick to respond with any questions. We would stay here again.

Fun vacation

The House is located on a busy roadway.it is also located in walking distance to groceries stores and Italian restaurants. The only thing I could complain is the busy roadway.

Not what we expected

Very old home...renovated but not recent. Found food in the fold out couch where we were sleeping...gave me a sick feeling. We ended up sleeping separately on couch and love seat. Over all fairly clean. It was convenient to family and friends that we were visiting.

Perfect Honeymoon!!

Newly renovated property that is well maintained with all the comforts of home. All rooms and amenities were well stocked. Host was very responsive to all our questions. Check in/out procedures were a breeze. Host even surprised us with a bottled of champagne on ice, champagne flutes and a balloon bouquet. Really started our honeymoon on the right note . We will definitely be spending our 1 yr anniversary there. Definitely a 10 out of 10. Highly recommend!!!

Perfect Poconos getaway

Great alternative to area hotels - perfectly situated within every location we were planning to hit - very clean and comfortable (especially the bed), and felt bigger than the square footage. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.
