We spent most of our time sitting on the deck reading, talking, and looking at the marina—people fishing and taking care of their boats. There is a forest trail nearby, which we visited a couple of times as well. Inside, a very nice pool table, board games, and a large TV in the living room were all much appreciated.There is a water filtration/softener system for the entire house, and the tap water at the kitchen sink is filtered and very tasty. The kitchen is very comfortable for cooking. We brought food with us (some already prepared and some cooked while at the property), so we did not need to go out for the three days we stayed there. The closest grocery store is Dollar General, which is perfectly acceptable in a pinch.We enjoyed our stay very much and will try to return next year.

4th of July overflow

We rented this house for extra friends who come to spend 4th of July with us. It’s a really cute house with a great location overlooking the marina and the lake. Really close to boat launch if you are bringing your own boat or sea doo. Will definitely stay here again.

Long term rental

We have stayed at Penne’s property for 6 months as winter snowbirds 2022-2023 and recently 2023-2024. She is a fantastic “landlady”! Her property is ideally located on the marina and is well-equipped for short OR long term rentals.

Pleasant home with a great view of the Cape Royale Marina

Very nice amenities, great views, we saw several whitetail deer, overall great place to vacation.

We'll be back!

We just finished an extended "snowbird" stay at Penne's lovely house on the marina. It was perfect for us...fenced yard for our little dog, bonus area upstairs for the kids and adults to have separate spaces, spacious outdoor living area with room for corn hole and outdoor games, and a well-appointed kitchen with everything we needed for meal prep. The Cape Royal area is VERY well maintained and has miles of trails and roads for walking, biking, skateboarding etc and of course, close access to the water for fishing and other activities. Internet / WiFi is high-speed fiber and easily handles multiple devices and streams without hiccups or glitches. Penne was immediately available to answer any questions we had ... we have been blessed to have met her !

Much needed get away

The property and location amazing. Everything was just as described. All was very user friendly, the porch was great for morning coffee and evening relaxing and the house was also very pet friendly for my fur babies. Will absolutely return! Communications and accommodations were awesome!! Thank you for a great get away!!!!

Great location easy access to the outdoor experience.

My family and I had a great time . We got a chance to do some fishing grilled on the patio and had the best time with a pool tournament. Penne also went out of her way to Mail me my diabetic medicine after I left them behind. Definitely would love to come back.

Great Family House!

We loved our stay! The location was amazing: we could sit out on the back patio and watch our kids fish. The house was stocked with cleaning supplies and had lots of games. We wish the mattress on the second level nook was useable, but other than that it was a perfect stay.

Beautiful lake house

This property was right across from the marina. It was beautiful weekend. The only complaint would be all the steps were unsafe both inside and outside. Overall it was a fantastic trip and made lots of memories there. This celebration of life for my dad will be cherished and remembered with everyone who came.
