Lovely Lake Getaway

Very comfortable place to visit for a long weekend with local family and friends. Pet friendly for our 2 seniors. Very clean. Nice. We hope to have a chance to return.

Perfect getaway

Excellent property and great neighborhood! It is well-stocked with everything you would need from grilling utensils to coffee pods to cleaning materials. Everything is very clean and neat and stylish. Unique layout with upstairs master bedroom. Convenient access to boat ramps and marina. Just a lovely place to stay!

Fun, peaceful stay

Karen was wonderful to communicate with. Her place had plenty of space and everything we needed. The community was very quiet and marina close by was nice for some fishing. We also had fun going to a classic car show and market in the cute downtown area.

Weekend Getaway

This is a very cozy property. The check in and out process was very easy. The porch was one of our favorite places to sit in the evening. Only negative would be to provide better pots and pans for cooking, more plates and possible steak knives. Karen was very responsive to our questions.

Relaxing Long Weekend

This cozy bungalow has everything you need for a great stay. Bbq pit, patio, nature and a beautiful lake around the corner. We took our boat and went out to Pine Island. Rode out to Chazers and enjoyed lunch.

Great long weekend getaway

We chose to go for a long weekend to get out of Houston. It was an easy drive and when we got there it was a super easy check in process. The property is as advertised and has a nice view of the marina area off the deck. The community is really nice to and it’s an easy drive to Coldsprings if you need food or other resources. I would recommend this property.

Good but dated

The location in the Cape is great. You can see the Marina from the deck. The home is dated but cozy. The kitchen is small but has additional items in the laundry room. The pictures are accurate and the owner is quick to respond to questions/issues.

LONG-TERM VISIT

My husband and I spent several weeks at Karen's property in Cape Royale before the 1st of the New Year. With boating, fishing, hiking, bird and wildlife watching ( not to mention the pool and tennis courts at the recreation area!) there are many outdoor activities available to keep you busy during the day and a large outdoor patio with fire pit to relax and enjoy the sunset at the end of the day. The house is well-equipped, pet-friendly and clean, and Karen was very responsive to any maintenance issues that came up. WiFi accommodated all the devices we were using without any problems. The "neighborhood" of Cape Royale is exceeding well maintained and people we encountered on our dog walk were very friendly and welcoming. My husband and I are part of the AARP generation and after awhile the stairs to the master suite on the second level became a bit much for us. We would definitely like to return to the Cape Royal area but we will look for a single-level rental home. Thanks for sharing your home with us Karen!

Spacious and Peaceful

We truly enjoyed our weekend in the Cape! This house was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. It was the perfect space for me, my husband And our three kids. The neighborhood is absolutely peaceful and everyone is friendly. The view is amazing and the two decks are perfect for barbecuing and just some relaxation time! We would definitely recommend this home to anyone who is wanting to get away, disconnect and enjoy a beautiful view in the process.

Family Reunion

We had a great time during our family reunion. The house was perfect! The back deck was amazing to hang out on. We were so close to the marina and the water that it made for a really pretty evening walk.
