We were very disappointed with the main bedroom as what is described as a “loft-style” main bedroom is actually just a loft above the kitchen, overlooking the living space, so there is no privacy whatsoever and no way to close out the noise if one wants to go to sleep whileothers are in the living area or watching TV (which is likely when there is a family or group of friends in the house). There is also no privacy when coming out of the bathroom. The lack of a private, quiet space was frustrating and detracted from our stay. aThere are no cupboards or wardrobes in any of the other bedrooms so although the house can sleep up to 8 people one has nowhere to unpack and put one’s clothes etc making it messy in the relatively small bedroom spaces. Overall the house is well-equipped and spacious and is in a lovely position.
